Christmas

I got up early today at 6:30 due to me being excited. Christmas was always my favourite holiday. I woke up Alicia by jumping on her and yelling, "GET UP ITS CHRISTMAS!" "Blimey y/n the sun isn't even fully up yet." She groaned. I rolled my eyes playfully and said. "Just come onn." I rushed down to the common room and I was the first one down there.

I went up to the boys' dorm and swung the door open. "WAKE UP!" Lee sat up really fast, "What's wrong!? What's happening!?" He asked worriedly. "Nothing," I chuckled. "Just get up it's Christmas!" Lee groaned but stood up. I noticed Fred and George seemed like they didn't even hear me yell. I grabbed Lee and shoved him hard so he'd land on George and wake him up. "Get off of me Lee!" George shouted. Lee just pointed at me. I walked over to Fred's bed and shook him, "Get up Fred." He just shook his head no. I crawled up and sat on him. "Come on Freddie." As I was shaking him awake I noticed how he still looked good even though he was just barely awake. "Like what you see?" Fred teased. I hadn't even noticed I was staring. "No." I replied while blushing. He slowly put his arms around me and pulled me down gently. He put the blanket over me and brought my head closer to his chest. George whispered to Lee, "Let's give them some alone time." they both went down to the common room.

"Fred get up." I whispered. He whispered back, "No y/n/n, let's stay here for a while." He started playing with my hair. I wanted to get up but I just couldn't, I want to stay with him. "But Freddie," I yawned. "Christmas.." My voice started trailing off. I was falling asleep. "There you go, y/n.. get some sleep." He whispered sweetly. I moved myself closer to him so we were fully touching, I felt him kiss my forehead then I fell asleep. Not long after he fell asleep too.

I woke up to Fred gently shaking me. "Y/n, do you want to wake up now?" He asked softly. I tiredly shook my head no and gripped onto him. "Come on y/n/n, it's Christmas don't you wanna be up for that?" He had his arms wrapped around me and gently squeezed me. I slowly opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was Fred smiling at me. "Good morning sleepyhead." Fred said. "Good morning," I blushed, "What time is it?"  Fred said, "Probably around 9."   "9!? You let me sleep till 9 on Christmas!?" I accidentally shouted. "Sorry." I said quietly. "It's alright, love.." He barely whispered the last word but I heard him. Fred cleared his throat and got off the bed. I just laid there. "Coming?" Fred chuckled. "Yeah." I whispered then got up and followed him down to the common room.

"Finally!" George said. "I can't even believe we waited this long for you two." Lee nodded in agreement. "Well we're here now, aren't we?" I said. I went to my dorm to get the presents for everyone, all I got were candies for everyone but I got Fred the most. I hid the gifts in my robes and headed back down. "I want to go last." I said nervously. Everyone nodded. Lee and Alicia got Fred and George some prank items. I suddenly felt upset, I barely got anyone anything. I slowly started inching away as they were examining and grinning at the new products. I was watching to make sure no one was watching while backing up occasionally looking over my shoulder to make sure I was headed the right way. Everyone seemed distracted. As I reached the stairs I turned around and tried to run up and hide away but I felt someone grab my arm. It was Fred. "Where are you going?" He asked. "Oh, I just forgot something." I lied. "Just come back and let us give you your present, then you can go get it." I looked down at the ground and nodded slowly.

Fred handed me a box, I opened it and inside there was a single puking pastille which I rolled my eyes at but smiled, 4 chocolate frogs, and a little stuffed bear. Fred said, "I know it's not much but-" I cut him off. "It's perfect Freddie.. thank you.." George and Lee got me some candy and George slipped in a firework with a note saying 'For when you feel like blowing something up.' I thanked them. Alicia pulled me aside and said, "I don't know if you're okay with the others seeing but here's a picture of you and Fred asleep on the couch." "No I love it, thanks!" I said nervously while sticking the picture in my pocket. She walked back to the others. I stood there then I looked down at the ground ashamed, I got the worst gift for everyone. I ran up to my door and accidentally slammed the door shut. I ran to my bed and hid under the covers.
