(15)~is chismas~ (LATE)

It was Christmas morning, Gundham and Kazuichi we're still asleep, but someone in the house was awake.
ms.Tanaka was awake, she had put presents under the Christmas tree, and she was making breakfast.
"Boys!!!" She called.
Silence
She walked up to their room to wake them up. She knocked suddenly, waking up both of them.
"Ughh, let me sleep in, we have off today" Kazuichi groaned.
"It's Christmas, i don't enjoy most of the mortal customs, but on Christmas morning me and my mother exchange gifts" Gundham explained.
Ms.Tanaka knocked again,
"I made breakfast!!!" She called.
Gundham got up from the bed,
"We should go eat" Gundham suggested. Ge tried to drag Kazuichi out of bed, but Kazuichi didn't get up, and instead flopped on the ground.
"I don't really celebrate Christmas dude." Kazuichi explained.
"You still have to eat!" Gundham said.
"And besides, my family does celebrate Christmas. You are one of my very close allies, so I would appreciate if you would at least come spend time with us..." Gundham said. Kazuichi got up,
"Alright, but I didn't get anyone anything" Kazuichi announced grumpily. He got up and went to the bathroom to change. Gundham ran down the stairs, Spencer was already there eating vegan pancakes.
"Mmph, cheers" he mumbled through a mouthful.
"You're here early this year, it's before sunhigh" Gundham remarked.
"Mmph, last time I was late you ate all the pancakes!!!" Spencer reminded him.
"Leave some for Kaz," Gundham said. He took a couple pancakes and poured syrup on them. A few minutes later, Kazuichi came down, he looked tired. He sat down and started eating a pancake with no syrup on it.
"Um... Are you ok?" Spencer asked. Kazuichi just made an mmph sound and shrugged his shoulders. He got up to give some pancakes to Gundham's rats. The others knew something was up with Kazuichi.
"He seems annoyed, I hope the gift I got him will cheer him up" Spencer said.
"Don't get your hopes up, I think maybe he's had bad experiences with Christmas before" Gundham's mom said.
"Oh yeah, his family does kinda suck" Spencer said.
"Let's open our gifts, we can give him his when he comes back" Ms.Tanaka said. She handed the gifts she bought from under the tree.
Gundham got a new scarf, he smiled gently and thanked his mom. He put on the pretty blue scarf while Spencer opened his. Gundham's mom had given him a patch, the kind that you iron on to things, it had a trans flag on it.
"Hehe, thanks, hopefully I'll be out of the closet someday so I can wear this" he thanked.
Spencer got Gundham a metal bracelet that looked like a snake, he was thrilled because it was just his style.
He in turn gave him a band tee with fall out boy on it.
Meanwhile, Kazuichi was still downstairs, he didn't plan on coming back upstairs, his rats were begging to wind down from the excitement of pancake treats and they let him stroke their furry backs. Gundham came down the stairs with the rest of his family behind.
"Kazuichi, we know you said you don't celebrate Christmas, but we got you some presents anyways" Ms.Tanaka said. Kazuichi looked over,
"H-huh, you didn't need to do that" Kazuichi turned away, flustered. He patted the rats butts to calm himself down. Ms.Tanaka handed a soft wrapped package down to him.
"Uhm, thanks" Kazuichi said.
"Open it kiddo!" Ms.Tanaka said.
He started fidgeting with the tape, trying to take it off gently, but Spencer leaned over and ripped the paper off for him.
"Hey!"
"That's how your supposed to open it!" Spencer defended. The gift contained a new jumpsuit it was black.
"Oh wow, thanks! This is really nice... Are you sure you want to give this to me..." Kazuichi said.
"Yeah, you're practically family now" she smiled.
"I Didn't uhh, wrap mine" Spencer said. He dropped two patches onto Kazuichi's lap,
"Wow, these are patches with Luka and Saki, my rats, did you make them?" Kazuichi asked.
"Embroidery classes" Spencer explained.
Finally Gundham gave a small box to Kazuichi, he started explaining as he opened it.
"Those necklaces and special symbolic necklaces, I take one and you take the other one."
Inside the box were two necklaces with half of a black heart each one had a red jewel and the other blue. Kazuichi started to tear up at the gesture, he got up and ran upstairs to Gundham's room to escape. Gundham was still explaining,
"We shall wear them as a symbol of--"
Gundham watched him go.
"I think you made him emotional, you should go talk to him alone, since your his best friend" Gundham's mom told him.
"Is he upset? Was it a bad gift?" He asked.
"Nah, just go talk to him, I'll leave you two alone" Spencer winked at him subtly.
Gundham went up the stairs to search for Kazuichi, he knew he was still in the house because he hadn't heard the front or back doors. He walked up to his room, he heard Kazuichi crying so he entered slowly.
"Why are you crying my beau*?" He asked in a soft voice that Kazuichi hadn't heard before. He perked up a little,
"I just, no one's ever..." He tried to explain.
"It's alright" Gundham said, sitting down next to him. Kazuichi put his face into Gundham's chest and sobbed,
"Thank you..."
Gundham put his arms around him and pulled him closer. Kazuichi snuggled into him, he heaved a deep sigh.
"Gundham I-I l-lo... You're my best friend" Kazuichi admitted. Gundham's heart swelled with affection. He loved Kazuichi, and he ached to admit it right here and now, but he knew things would change if he did, and he couldn't risk that change being for the worse.
"You're my best friend too" Gundham responded. He massages soothing circles into his back. They sat there for a while,
"Why did you call me a bow?" Kazuichi asked.
"Huh? Oh, beau means friend in French"
