(6) ~the plan p2~

Kazuichi sat down at his desk and pulled out a piece of paper and a pencil to take notes with. Teruteru leaned over
"Dude what happened?" He asked.
"I got in a fight..." Kazuichi answered. Teruteru pulled his chair up to his desk,
"With who???" He asked, excited for drama.
"Well... I got in a fight with Gundham," Kazuichi lied.
"Over miss Sonia? Who started it?" Teruteru continued questioning.
"Heh, calm down dude... I started it. I don't really want to talk about it" Kazuichi said.
"Why, did you lose?" Teruteru taunted.
"No, I'm just tired, shut up, Ms.Usami is here!" Kazuichi hissed. Usami walked in and sat at her desk at the front of the room.
"Oh dear, are you alright Kazuichi?" She asked.
"Yeah," Kazuichi responded.
"What happened to your face?" Usami asked. Gundham who was getting nervous about the lie, shot up from his seat,
"It was me!!! That foolish mortal crossed me and I decided to unleash my wrath on him!!!" He shouted.
"What did he do?" Sonia growled, glaring at Kazuichi.
"Um... We shall discuss this later my queen." Gundham said, sitting down.
"Calm down class, we have to learn about history right now! Please don't start drama during lunch time..." Usami begged.
Just then Kazuichi's phone buzzed.

Ham: what do I say we're fighting about?

Pink: I told Teruteru I started the fight because of miss Sonia, but did you see how angry she looked! I don't want her to be mad at me!

Ham: Sonia is most trustworthy, I suggest we tell her the truth, she is my friend, I dislike lying to her, and I doubt we could keep her fooled for very long.

Pink: I'm not sure... But if you tell her not to tell anyone I think she'll listen.

Pink: invite her to your house after school and I'll meet you guys there at like 3:15, I have work at 5:00 so we should be able to hang out for like an hour and a half first.

Next Gundham texted Sonia

The forbidden one (Gundham): I must speak with you, my dark queen. Come to my den at 3:15 after school. From now until then, please do not release your wrath on Kazuichi.

Dark Queen (Sonia): ok, but what's going on?

Forbidden: I shall explain at 3:15.

Queen: alright, I won't end Kazuichi, as long as he is not troublesome today.

Forbidden: I am being serious, Don't!

Queen: I was kidding ; )

Gundham turned off his phone and stuffed it into his pocket as Usami collected their work.
Of course people gossiped about the fight during lunch, even people who weren't in their class were turning their heads to look at Kazuichi and Gundham. Gundham sat with Sonia, and Kazuichi sat by himself. The rest of the school day went pretty much the same until 3:00 when they finally got released from the big brick building.
Kazuichi got to Gundham's house first and Ms.Tanaka let him inside. He went downstairs and helped with some of the animal chores, like feeding The rats. Luka and Saki crawled on his arms gratefully, he was really growing to like them.
Kazuichi heard the door open upstairs and Gundham and Sonia's voices as they walked in. He ran up the stairs with one rat under his beanie, and one in his jumpsuit pocket. It had a pocket in the front like a hoodie.
"Hey, Gundham!" Kazuichi yelled.
"Fuwaghh!!!" Sonia yowled, swinging her fist at Kazuichi, He barely dodged,
"Hey, careful of the rats!" He said, pulling Luka out of his front pocket.
"They're really starting to like me!" Kazuichi beamed.
".... I thought you guys were fighting?" Sonia  said, confused.
"It was a lie" Gundham confessed.
"Why tho?" Sonia asked.
"Kazuichi didn't want to reveal the real reason he was injured, but when he saw the extent of your wrath we decided to tell the truth, but only to you, do not tell anyone!" Gundham announced.
"Um, let's go to the basement so no one else hears us" Kazuichi suggested nervously.
So they went down the stairs, and Kazuichi started to explain what happened.
"So what actually happened," Sonia asked.
"Well I um, it was..." Kazuichi could feel tears welling up in his eyes. It was so hard to say,
"It was my dad" he said quickly, his face had a guilty look on it and he covered his mouth with his hand. He started crying a little but he held most of it in in front of Sonia.
"He has been staying in my den, I decided to let him stay because his father is a foul creature." Gundham explained.
Sonia looked shocked,
"Oh, uh, that's a lot to process. I understand why you lied..." Sonia mumbled.
"It's ok, I'm ok now, let's do something to take our minds of this. I have to go to work in like half an hour." Kazuichi insisted, wiping his tears away.
They went to get a snack from the kitchen,
Gundham drank some water, while Kazuichi ravenously ate some grape tomatoes.
"You ate all of them? You're supposed to put them in salad..." Gundham complained.
"They're yummy tho" Kazuichi mumbled through the last bite of tomato.
"Hey, guys, it's almost halloween, I was thinking we could go to a haunted house tonight" Sonia said.
"I have work until 8:30, so I can't go" Kazuichi said, secretly grateful because he hates scary things.
"That's fine, we're obviously going at night time Kaz!" Sonia said.
"How about it? Or are you scared or something." Sonia laughed.
"..."
"Don't patronize him, some mortals are just scared of everything" Gundham smirked.
"Hey, I didn't even answer, I'll be there, it's not like it's real anyways." Kazuichi said.
"Oh, I have to go to work now, I'll be back at nine! Don't leave without me and try to say I chickened out!" He yelled as he walked out of the door. He walked towards his work thinking, what did I just get myself into...
