(20)~Freedom at last~

Spencer sped up the stairs to Gundham's front door. He didn't knock, he knew he didn't have to here. Gundham's mom welcomed him. Spencer nodded and practically flung himself down the stairs to see what was going on. Out of breath he said,
"Kaz! Are you alright bro?". Kazuichi was still half asleep next to Gundham,
"Yeah," Kazuichi pulled up the screen on his phone that showed his dad's blocked number. Spencer patted him on the back.
"You're free now! Let's go party or something" he beamed.
"Yeah!... Well, I got fired from my job, I'm gonna be tight on money for a while..." Kazuichi said sadly.
"Well, we don't have to do something expensive. Get a couple bottles of Mountain dew and play Fall out boy all night, were set!" Spencer suggested.
"Oh, and the Dew is on me obviously." Spencer poked Gundham, who was still sleeping.
"Wake up! We are gonna party tonight!"
Gundham reluctantly opened his eyes and mumbled something incoherent. Kazuichi wrapped his arms around him and rested his cheek on his shoulder. Gundham rolled over and hugged him right to cuddle him.
"Wake up!" Kazuichi giggled softly, he planted a soft kiss on Gundham's forehead. Spencer on the other hand didn't want to wait, he poked Gundham's face until he woke up.
"What is it, has hell risen?!???" Gundham yelled. Spencer laughed,
"No I need to go to the store to get some soda, we're having a freedom party for Kazuichi" Spencer explained.
"Ahh, I'll drive," Gundham said.
"Don't we have school tomorrow?"
"Yeah we'll be tired, but it'll be worth it" Spencer insisted. Gundham sighed and agreed. They all got into the car and drove to the nearby gas station, there wasn't really enough time for a meaningful conversation, so they just chattered excitedly about their party.
They ended up buying Mountain dew and Orange soda. On the car ride back Spencer had a thought,
"You know it's actually illegal for you to get fired for being gay. If you talk to the police you could get your old boss in trouble" he told Kazuichi.
"Really?"
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure, I'll talk to my government teacher about it."
They pulled into the driveway and carried their soda inside. Gundham's mom scolded him for bringing so much soda into the house because it's unhealthy. Even after he said he wasn't going to drink any.
The trio had a great time listening to music for a couple hours before gundham started to get tired.
"Drink some mountain dew, it has caffeine, it'll wake you up" Spencer prodded it against his face, having already consumed a lot of caffeine himself.
"Stooooop" Gundham groaned sleepily.
"Do the dew," Kazuichi laughed.
They both started chanting "do the dew! Do the dew!" Until Gundham reluctantly obliged. They poured him some in a plastic cup. Gundham took a small sip
"Shit" he whispered to himself.
"You ok?" Kazuichi asked. Gundham chugged the rest of the soda.
"More please" he said.
Gundham drank more of the soda. The party lasted late into the night until they all passed out at some point.

The next morning they were all super tired.  They had to scramble around the house madly to get ready on time. They each grabbed a piece of fruit from the bowl, they didn't have time to sit down and eat. They walked to school together sleepily. They didn't really talk, they were regretting staying up so late and drinking so much soda. They arrived at school about fifteen minutes later.
"Eurghhh, see ya later I guess," Kazuichi groaned.
"My government teacher is named, Ms.Madison, you can talk to her during lunch or after school for advice on your situation" Spencer yawned. Gundham grumbled, he wanted to kiss his lovely boyfriend before class, but he knew that was not a good idea, in front of the school where everyone could see. Instead, he squeezed his hand affectionately. Kazuichi understood and gave him a loving gaze.
"Actually, there is something else I need to say..." Spencer said.
"Yes?" Gundham replied curiously.
"I want to tell them." Spencer announced confidently.
"Tell who what?" Kazuichi asked sleepily.
"I want to tell the school about me, I'm tired of being treated like a girl" Spencer said, with a sigh.
"That's great" Kazuichi smiled brightly, more awake now.
"What about your parents, my dark prince?" Gundham said.
"Y'know what, I'm gonna say it" Spencer paused and took a deep breath,
"I don't give a FUCK about my parents" Spencer yelled the curse and everyone in the area turned to look.
Spencer had a big grin on his face,
"That felt good!"
Teruteru walked up to him and leaned on a wall,
"Calm down sweetheart, you don't need to tell about it" he smirked.
"Fuck off!" Spencer flipped him off and started walking towards the school, beckoning his friends to follow.
"Please don't make a habit out of that..." Gundham said worriedly.
"I won't, he deserved it though, he sexually harasses me and all the girls at this school."
"Yeah, that was pretty cool though" Kazuichi laughed.
"Ok, I'm going to administration to talk before class, I'll be telling everyone else later today, I'll see you in homeroom" Spencer waved his hand and left in the direction of the office, while Gundham and Kazuichi climbed the stairs to homeroom.
They had seats at the opposite end of the room, so they sat there worrying about Spencer, no one else had any idea how big this day would be for him.
In the end they didn't see Spencer for the rest of the morning.
The school administration decided that they would have a long conversation with Spencer before he spoke to his classmates about ways they would be able to support him at the school from now on.
After that long uncomfortable conversation, he decided he would announce the change of his name and pronouns at lunch. He knew that this was the right thing, whether people took this well or poorly, he would finally be free.

This is the end of "season 1" of this book.

I want to write a couple chapters first and have a better upload schedule so you don't have to wait for a super long time.

I will probably write most of these over the summer, so expect this story to be back in buisness at the end of the summer around September, also, if you guys are still reading,
Should I make Season 2 in a separate book? Or should I continue season 2 in this book?

Also, the reason for this delay is because I had a lot of school work, and I'm working on starting a buisness, I make custom fursuits and my commissions will be opening in july (hopefully)
