"Destiny! Sit down and let me comb your tail!" Sarina scolds.

Destiny sighs and sits down, nervousness and excitement coursing through her. Sarina combs through the dark fur of the wolf-raven's tail, her eyes flashing lightly with concentration.

"It'll be under her dress anyways! There's no point!" Taylor points out.

"Can you stop fighting? Please?" Annalise asks.

"Just get me in the dress and let me go marry Leo." Destiny crosses her scarred arms, incredibly impatient for what's to come. Sure, she's nervous, but she's more excited than anything.

"Done! Dress time!" Sarina announces, deftly cleaning the loose fur from the brush she'd been using.

The other three girls mutter, "Finally." The cyborg narrows her eyes at them, but then shakes her head and drops it. The three girls get Destiny into her dress rather swiftly, making sure everything fits properly.

The whole time, all the wolf-raven mutant can think of is Leonardo. He's out there, waiting for her. They're going to be together and she'll be Hamato Destiny for real. Sure, she's been using their last name already for years, but now it's going to be official.

She is going to be Leo's wife.

"Leo, for the last time, enough tugging on your tie!" Raphael snaps.

"I'm nervous! Give me a break!" Leonardo whines.

Donatello smiles and fixes the tie, smoothing it down gently. Meanwhile, the red-masked brother fixes one of the modified tuxes that all the turtles got made for today. It took work, but it doesn't look half-bad now.

"There's nothing to be worried about," Donnie assures his nervous brother.

"Except messing up on the vows, or sweating too much, or maybe she won't even show up-"

"Okay, we're gonna stop that ridiculousness right there," Michelangelo says, clapping a hand over his oldest brother's mouth. "Desti-bear isn't gonna walk out on you."

"Right...yeah." Leo takes a deep cleansing breath. "Okay."

"Now come on. Let's get out there and send you off to happy land with your wifey," Raph says teasingly, starting to usher him out.

Leo's eyes widen as they usher him outside.

"Wife..." he whispers.

----------

The park where the wedding is happening is quiet and serene, not a human in sight. The sun is starting to set, but that's all good. Destiny wanted to get married by the light of the moon.

April and Casey sit in the audience with Mr Murikami and his daughter, Meeko Murikami. Leatherhead, Slash, Pigeon Pete, Doctor Rockwell, and Mr Kurtzman are there too, although Slash and Leatherhead avoid the few chairs set up for the other guests.

The guests talk to one another happily, excited for the little wedding they've been invited to. A rather tall girl in a suit and tie holds a mutant cat's hand, the cat's green eyes seeming to glow in the dimness of the oncoming night. Right beside them is Harry and Eustace Nezbit, the two men chatting with the young female couple. Both couples look completely content with the conversation.

Near to them is Timothy, dressed in a tux with his black hair combed carefully. He holds the hand of a dark-skinned girl in a green dress, her crazy brown curls framing her green-eyed face. The two of them giggle over their own conversation without any shame.

Mondo Gecko, or Jason, talks to Muckman about his dislike of formal wear, whilst Muckman just admits that he's glad to be attending such a special occasion with so many other accepting people.

Leonardo positions himself at the front of the strings of solar-powered lights making up the aisle, each of them charged up from the sunlight beforehand. Raphael stands next to him, giving him a quick pat on the shoulder. Michelangelo bounces lightly in place next to his brother, and Donatello stands in the priest's spot, holding the correct book for the occasion.

Destiny watches from a distance, her heart racing as the other three girls wish her luck and dash to their spots. All of their dresses are royal blue with a black rose pinned on the lapel, in honour of the bride and groom's favourite colours.

Splinter walks up behind Destiny, his gaze focused on the wolf-raven woman. He notices her tense stance, the feathers of her wings hardly quivering. A small fanged smile brightens her scarred face as she looks up at him.

"My child, you do not need to be frightened," he says. "You look beautiful."

"Thank you." She bows her head a little.

The wise rat smiles, his eyes shining with love for the mutant girl.

"Destiny, I'm very glad that you came into our lives," he says sincerely. "And I'm also glad that Leonardo has you."

She smiles, her cheeks pink with excitement. "Sensei, if I may ask, could you walk me down the aisle? I know it's a little late and all...but you're the only father I've ever had. And...after this, you will be my father."

Splinter nods, his heart touched. "I'd be honoured."

April cues up the wedding march at that moment, the soft music making Destiny's heart race impossibly faster. He holds his arm out to her and she takes it, ready.

Leo doesn't breathe for a moment when she comes in to view. Her hair falls in chocolate cascades down her shoulders, the one strand of black braided and pinned back. Her dress is long and elegant and the veil draped over her face looks soft and innocent. Her wings remain folded neatly behind her, although the feathers quiver with excitement. He knows that, if he could see her tail, it'd be wagging.

Splinter walks her down the aisle, giving her to Leo as they reach the end. He sits down next to April and Casey, and April squeezes his hand gently as she smiles at him. Leo's eyes seem to shimmer as he looks at Destiny and she reflects the same look of love towards him.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the union of Hamato Leonardo and Destiny Luna," Donnie starts.

They both grin at the sound of her false last name. She picked it just for today; Luna, meaning 'moon'.

Donnie continues on with the ceremony, and they say their vows. Immediately following that, they exchange their rings. Leo's silver wedding band is hung on a chain and draped over his neck, since it doesn't exactly fit on his finger. Only a little while later, the purple-masked turtle asks the big question.

"Hamato Leonardo, do you take Destiny Luna to be your wolf-fully wedded wife?" They both laugh, and Donnie smirks. "Lawfully wedded. Sorry, I had to."

"I do," Leo says once he's calmed his laughter.

"And do you, Destiny Luna, take Hamato Leonardo as your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do." She smiles, tears welling in her eyes.

"Then, by the power vested in me through the Internet-" He pauses to let the others laugh again. "-I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Leo lifts the veil, looking into her wild green eyes and feeling himself fall in love all over again. She grabs the front of his plastron and tugs him into a sweet kiss. The tiny audience cheers and they break away, both of their faces pink as they head the distinct sound of Casey's whistling and hooting.

"I love you," Leo whispers.

She laughs softly. "I love you too."
