If Raphael was less of a good mutant, Leonardo would be dead by his hand already.
All Raphael wants is to be able to go about his business in his own home without coming across his brother furiously making out with Destiny wherever he goes. What's worse is that they don't even seem all that sorry when they do get caught.
First, it was the kitchen. Raphael woke up and, like most people, decided to go and get some breakfast. He wandered down the hall, half asleep, lips smacking as he stretched and worked the knots from his arms.
Then, he got to the kitchen, and Destiny was sitting on the table with her legs around Leonardo's middle, his hand halfway up her shirt. They were so wrapped up in each other that they didn't notice their audience until Raphael half-screamed, half-gagged.
That forced the teenagers apart, their eyes wide as Destiny pushed her shirt back down. They didn't take the time to apologize or stick around and instead, Destiny hopped off the table and the two of them ran for it.
Raphael didn't have an appetite after that.
He thought that was the last of it, but then he found them in compromising situations in the dojo, the bathroom, the living room and the platform above the living room, and worst of all, where he found them on this particular day.
On top of the pinball machine.
"Okay, that's it!" he roars, nearly crumpling his Modern Ninja magazine in his fist. "You two need to get a room!"
Leonardo and Destiny stare at him. At least Destiny has the decency to look embarrassed while Leonardo just looks annoyed.
"Raph—" he starts.
"No. No," Raphael snaps, storming towards them. "You've ruined every surface in this lair and I swear, if you destroy the pinball machine, I will end you both."
"We didn't know you were here," Destiny says, doing her best to fix her messed up curls. "It's just kissing, Raph..."
"Oh, what? Am I the only one who catches you?" Raphael snorts. He refrains from adding that their "kissing" is more often than not closer to making out.
Leonardo purses his lips, slowly looking back at Destiny as she covers her mouth with her hand, stifling a giggle. Raphael looks between the two of them, mouth falling open.
"Wait, am I?" he asks.
"Mikey's usually out with Annalise, Splinter's always in his room, and Donnie and Sarina just stay in their lab," Leonardo says. He smirks a little, enough to make Raphael want to clock him. "You just...always show up at the wrong time."
"We swear we're not trying to...exhibit," Destiny adds. Her tail wags a little as she finally slides off the pinball machine, bumping her shoulder to Leonardo's. "We thought you were gone."
Raphael stares, feeling like steam may explode out of his ears. He throws his hands up, letting out a low, frustrated growl.
"Fine!" he snaps. "Fine, but I seriously need you two to be more aware!" He turns away, stomping to the living room. "And get a room!"
"Sure, Raph," Leonardo says.
"Will do!" Destiny adds.
For a while after, Raphael doesn't catch them and when he does see them, their tongues are thankfully out of each other's mouths. He's glad he can finally walk around his home without fear of PDA.
"Raphael," Splinter says, a few days later. "Can you go get Leonardo and Destiny? Supper is ready."
"Sure," Raphael says.
He heads for the bedrooms, going to Leonardo's room first. He grabs the handle and pushes the door open.
"Leo! Supper is—AGH, WHAT THE SHELL?!"
"Raph!" Leonardo snaps as he lurches up from Destiny's neck, her pinned beneath him. "Get out!"
"I swear to God—"
"We were in a room this time!"
Raphael slams the door, utterly fuming, and a few seconds later, the door reopens to both Leonardo and Destiny glaring at him.
"Knock next time, please?" Leonardo sighs.
Raphael opens his mouth, but Destiny interrupts. "We got a room. You don't get to be mad at us."
Raphael storms away without another word.
Soon after that, Splinter has a long talk with his sons about family boundaries and how, now that they are young men, they must be more aware of what they are doing and how it affects the people around them.
"Sensei?" Michelangelo asks, raising his hand. He blinks a few times. "Did something happen? Why are we talking about this?"
Leonardo and Raphael don't look each other in the eye while Donatello just sighs, patting Michelangelo's shoulder.
