Destiny runs her fingers through her hair, shutting her eyes.
"Leo?" she calls. There's no response. She takes another deep breath and tries again. "Leo!"
He rounds the corner, hand in hand with two-year-old Dean. She smiles lightly, to which he returns with a handsome smirk.
"You summoned me, milady?" he asks.
Destiny nods to him, then switches her attention to her son. "Dean, honey? Can you go and play with your cousins?"
"Okay mommy!" he chirps.
He turns and toddles away. Leo walks towards her, taking her hand and pulling her closer to him.
"Is something wrong?" he asks.
"No, no. Not at all." She smiles and rests her hand on her lower stomach. "There's another baby on the way."
"Really?" His face lights up. "That's...amazing!"
He pulls her into a quick kiss. He breaks away, leaving her with a small simper on her face.
"But, that got me thinking..." she continues.
"About what?"
"One day all of us will want to send the kids to school, wearing the human patches and all. We'll need money," she explains. "I think some of us need to get jobs."
He pauses, pondering his wife's words. He can see the logic in them, nodding his head as he drops his hand from his chin.
"How about we talk to the others?" he suggests.
"Sure."

Long story short, the idea takes off with everyone else once they mention it.
"I've got University connections now. With the patch, it'll be a snap to get a decent paying job," Sarina says with confidence.
"I'm already looking into game developing jobs. I can get a jump on that," Annalise chimes in.
"I'm all for this. I've been the only breadwinner here for years." Taylor chuckles, absentmindedly thinking of her music teaching job.
"So what are we supposed to do? Be stay at home dads?" Raphael grumbles.
"Stay at home dads and mom," Leonardo corrects, hugging Destiny's waist.
"I'm the only one with no real experience," she explains. "So I'll help these guys out with holding down the home fort."
"We don't need help," Raphael insists.
"Uh...yeah, we do," Michelangelo says.
"It wouldn't be bad," Donatello adds.
"She's got the motherly touch we'll all need," Leonardo finishes.
Raph looks to the playing children on the floor, smiling lightly. He glances back at his family, letting out a long sigh.
"Yeah. You're right," he gives in.
"Alright! I'll do some scouting, find something that can work," Sarina says, smoothing down her shirt as she gets to her feet.
Annalise laughs. "I'll have to wait for the application replies."
As they lapse into hearty chatter about the topic, Taylor leans back and crosses her arms. A smug look settles on her face.
"Novices," she mumbles.
