Shigaraki's POV
We all waited for the guy Twice said he was bringing to join our cause. Every League member was here, all except Dabi. I swear, that patchwork idiot never takes things serious, unless his interests are at stake.
Tch, maybe his disappearance has to do with [Name]... mainly about the discussion we had over her. He's inclined to the idea that she's not to blame in this ordeal and that I should stop being pissed off at her. It's not even his fucking business.
"What? This guy's famous?" Asked Magne bringing me back to our current situation.
I nonchalantly nodded, "My Master showed me his picture once. He's Yakuza. The young head of the Shie Hassaikai." My eyes narrowed at the guy. Something doesn't sit right with me.
Magne started to make a fuss about the Yakuza guy. Toga then asking what makes him different from us villains. Compress being the one to explain the origin of the underground organizations to her.
"Well you're not wrong about all that." The shady guy agreed.
"So you were barely scraping by, Mafia boy? Why come to us now?" Questioned Magne with interest. "Shouldn't you be out celebrating All Might's Retirement?"
"Nah... it's not about All Might. All for One's fall is a way bigger deal."
Oh? I was mildly displeased hearing my Master's name come out of that Yakuza idiot.
"The Emperor of Darkness who ruled over the entire underworld... the guy was like an urban legend to my generation. The old guard, though... they were always gossiping that he'd up and died. Then he showed up in the flesh and got locked up in Tartarus. So, now... both the light and dark sides are leaderless. Question is... who's gonna step up to lead?"
Anger rose in me. This bitch. Who the fuck does he think he is? Is he seriously saying that to my face? Does he not know who he's speaking to?! That nerve.... "If you're saying this, knowing full well who my Master is... is this a challenge?!" I irately rasped. "The next leader... is me."
"Oh right, given you're engaged to All for One's daughter, [L/name] [Name], is it?"
I clenched my teeth with disgust. He had no need to mention her. "What about her?" I gritted my teeth.
"All I'm saying is she's the heir to villainy along with her younger brother. She's the daughter of the symbol of darkness, makes sense she'll be following her father's footsteps."
"You're delusional if you think that." I retorted, "If you haven't already realized it, if [Name] wanted to be a villain she would be here right now and not with the heroes."
"Oh no, I'm not delusional. I'm certain that'll happen sooner or later. And that's where my plan goes to work. But in order for that to happen I need a few things done, one major task being that I get in contact with the heiress herself."
I clenched my hand into an angry fist. "I suggest you take her out of your tasks. Knowing her, she wouldn't want to join you. She rather join us. Something you should consider in doing, which why you're here no?"
He looked at me for a while before chuckling lowly to himself.
"Right, you keep thinking that. Let me ask you this, do you have a plan?"
"A plan?" I wasn't liking where this conversation was heading, "Didn't you come here to join our little gang?" I asked irked.
"Having a goal without a plan just makes you a daydreamer, and daydreamers don't make for a good sales pitch. What happens once you've expanded? How are you going to use these people? What's your management strategy for this organization?"
