Chapter 65. King Explosion Murder

(A/n: This is probably my longest chapter yet ('▽'ʃ♡ƪ) )

Katsuki's explosion obstructed my vision. Once the smoke had cleared slightly, I rapidly raced into the scene and tried breaking them apart.

"Izuku! Katsuki! Please stop fighting!" I shouted, I quickly got between them.

"You stay out of this! This doesn't concern you Gauche!" Katsuki yelled, pushing past me.

"It does concern me! Because I care about you both." I argued. I began to feel mad. "Stop fighting! It won't do you guys any good."

"Move it [Name]!!" Katsuki hollered.

"[Name]!!" Izuku shouted worriedly as I ducked an explosion.

"Izuku! Katsuki! Please stop! I don't want you two getting hurt!" I cried out again.

I could get between them and rapidly stop their fight, with my immunity quirk practically nonexistent I'd just get in the way, and using my other quirks, well... if I get detention for using my quirks that isn't during a mission or a scholar activity, Aizawa and the rest of the teachers are forced to report it to the Commission.

As much as I'd like to intervene, I don't see how I can stop them without using my quirks. While silently thinking so, Katsuki was already set on focusing his explosions on Izuku one after the other. Until...

"Why'd a twerp like you get that kind of power...? You got All Might to recognize you... you got way stronger!" Katsuki shouted.

My eyes widened, equally wide as Izuku's. Katsuki knows... about One for All?? How can that be... I briefly recalled a conversation Izuku and I had a few weeks ago, right after the Hero Killer incident. He mentioned he told Katsuki something about his power being borrowed. And if that happened, it's no surprise Katsuki placed one plus one together and hit the nail on the mark.

But that wasn't all that shocked me. What Katsuki said next, it broke me because he had no reason to believe that...

"So why was it me... why... was it me... who put an end to All Might?"

I felt my heart sink into a bottomless pit.

"If only I'd been stronger... Everything woulda been fine!" He yelled as a few tears escaped his crimson eyes. "I couldn't even save [Name], if I had she wouldn't have been missing all those days, she wouldn't have suffered as much!"

Izuku and I exchanged a worried glance. We we're both too shocked to speak.

"All Might's trying to keep it a secret himself... he hasn't told anyone! But even if I try to forget sometimes it all just comes rushing back!" Katsuki said referring to Izuku's quirk.

Katsuki looked completely devastated; never had I seen him so broken, so upset, so... like that.

"I've got no freaking idea... what am I supposed to do!!" he yelled exasperatedly.

Izuku's face was filled with immense shock and hurt.

"Katsuki..." I barely managed to call him. "Please calm down." I took a step towards him but he refused to look at me.

I clenched my fists with tears forming in my eyes. I felt so guilty. It's not his fault! He didn't end All Might it wasn't him it was...

"If we're really doing this... I'll give it my all!" Izuku had told Katsuki as he got into a fighting stance.

"Izuku..." I blinked shocked. Confusion rose in me as to why he'd agreed to such a thing but then I remembered, Katsuki and Izuku had an odd friendship. They've known each other for several years.
