A few hours later, school had ended. Without drawing much attention from anyone –it's not like I was avoiding Shoto, Izuku, or Katsuki, but knowing them they'd probably ask about my talk with Kyohei. Shoto and I came to an agreement that he wouldn't ask anymore since he would rather wait for the truth than to hear a lie. I'm sure Izuku and Katsuki would think the same but... my stubborn mind still believes it's better that the less people know, the safer they are.
On my way out of UA I came across a familiar face. My favorite lavender haired boy, Hitoshi.
"Hey [Nickname]." Hitoshi greeted me with a soft smile. "Hey little guy, how are you doing?" he patted Hiro's head. To which the little boy giggled at.
"Hello Hitoshi." I greeted back, "I haven't seen you in a while."
He nodded bashfully; his hand went to the back of his neck. "Yeah, sorry about that. I wish I could do more than message you every now and then but you know how Aizawa is."
I chuckled a little, "Yeah, he's a tough but excellent teacher. How's the training going with him." I eyed him closely, hm? He looks even more different from the last time I saw him. He's more muscular. "By the looks of it, you seem much stronger." I squeezed his bicep.
He jolted a little from my touch. I felt an odd emotion cross in me as I saw his cheeks with a light hue of cerise. "Oh, um yeah." He fumbled with a response, "I've been giving it my all."
I nodded. "I can tell."
"Though, I wish I could say the same thing about you. You look... tired."
I scoffed, "Hah? First of all, rude and second, um I guess you are not wrong about that." I said the latter part in an admitting tone.
He laughed, "You never change. Your bad humor I mean."
"Hey!" I rolled my eyes with a pout. "I can't help that I'm awkwardly social. And for your information you lack friendliness."
He rolled his eyes. "Yet, here we are, friends with each other, no?"
I nodded and he finally smiled. We sat outside, on a bench as we began to talk about our current life situations, well I let Hitoshi do more of the talking for obvious reasons. But sometimes conversations lead up to other conversations we don't have the will or feel the capability to talk about.
Hitoshi asked, "I remember you said something over text to me about having another facet to your quirk, invisibility, right? How is that working out for you? Since I know you haven't told anyone about the mind manipulation."
I bit my lip. Of course, he'd be curious. I sighed, "It's working out... somewhat."
"Somewhat?" he prompted confused.
I nodded. "I haven't told them about the people thought's manipulating part. Only Izuku and you know about that. It would be troublesome if others knew for now."
"Oh." He replied while nodding, "For now you mean, you're satisfied with how things are working for you? Meaning there's more huh?"
My eyes widened a bit.
He chuckled, "You're not too hard to read. At least when you have your guard down. You tend to be more honest with your facial expressions when you talk about your quirks. Not only that but your choice of words sometimes lingers with an underlining emotion."
