It was 3 months later...a long 3 months. It seemed to have passed so quickly now that there was no threats anymore. They could all live in peace, not having to worry about demons slaughtering them anymore. Since the finale day of the battle, Inosuke had found himself having horrific nightmares. But at the end of them, dumbass would always show up to help him- and he'd be able to sleep peacefully. It almost felt as if she was watching over him, helping him now that she was gone.

It was all so strange now. Everything they trained so much to achieve was over, they had to put those skills to rest. And Nezuko was a human now, scolding the boys whenever they were naughty- having normal conversations with them. She didn't remember a lot about (Y/N), but the things she did remember never failed to make Inosuke smile- so he filled in the blanks for her.

And now they were at the cemetery, their arms full of wisteria flowers as they stared out at the thousands of graves.

"There's no way we're gonna finish this today! There's way too many graves, and I'm hungry!" The lemon boy cried as he clung to Nezuko's pink kimono, who looked down at him with a mix of confusion and sympathy. The boar boy grumbled as he watched him, and he turned to break out in a sprint.

"Let me do it! I'll get it done fast so we can still go to Tanjiro's house!" He exclaimed, and Tanjiro swatted at his head.

"Hey, you won't show enough respect! If (Y/N)-Chan was here, she'd also scold you!" The maroon haired boy scolded, and Inosuke huffed. The mention of her name never failed to set him straight, and he began to gently place the flowers down on the graves.

"Anything for dumbass" He mumbled as he went round reading all the names, nodding slightly as a way to show his respects. He never did manage to place flowers on her grave that day, so he made a promise to himself to do it every week instead- and it wasn't long before even her grave was beautiful.

Inosuke also visited Mitsuri's grave frequently, talking to the headstone about how much (Y/N) would talk about the Hashira, about how (Y/N) had even taught Inosuke some forms of Love Breathing.

He was going to honour his dumbass in anyway he could, and that was a promise he stuck to until the day he died.
