Back at the main headquarters, things were dire. When Ubuyashiki was given the news that the 5 kids and the pillar had defeated an Upper Moon- he was ecstatic. A little too ecstatic though. He quickly began to cough up blood, his forehead creasing as coughs raked through his body.

"A hundred years! A way of life that hasn't changed for a hundred years...has finally now changed!" He grinned as another set of coughs plagued his weakening form. Things were finally beginning to change for the better, thanks to Tanjiro- thanks to Nezuko, thanks to Zenitsu, thanks to Inosuke, thanks to...(Y/N).

"Muzan, we will definitely defeat you within our generation! We'll rip you apart piece by piece!" He said, and he wiped the blood from his lips.

Things had been...rough since the Red Light District. Firstly, (Y/N)'s head wound was taking a while to heal. The wound had hardly healed at all over the past two months, so she was kept bed ridden. However, the maroon haired boy had it a lot worse than her. He had been in a coma, not even showing any signs of waking up anytime soon. The poison must have really messed up his body. That was until Aoi burst through her door.

"TANJIROISAWAKE" She screamed before ducking back out, and the h/c haired girl tilted her head slightly. Luckily the head injury hadn't messed with much otherwise she'd have no idea what the small butterfly girl had just said. 

"He's...awake?" She asked herself as she swung her legs out of the side of the bed, and she grabbed the haori that was folded up on the chair beside her. It had been months since Rengoku-San died, but every time she wrapped the haori tighter around herself it felt like he was still there. But never mind that, where was Inosuke? She hadn't seen him since they were carted back to The Butterfly Estate, and the more she thought about it...the more her chest bubbled with worry. She quickly buttoned up the rest of her uniform and dashed out of her room.

He really hadn't been in a good shape the last time they saw each other. Nezuko had managed to burn away some of the poison...but there was still enough left in his system to make him sleep for this long. As horrible as it was to say, she really thought he was going to die. Shaking her head she finally made her way to Tanjiro's room, and she burst through the door. She'd have to have faith in Shinobu and her medicines- Mitsuri had always told her how effective they were

"I'm here! Sorry I took so long!" (Y/N) exclaimed as she stepped into the room, wincing at the pain that spread across her entire head. Now she understood why she was told to keep it easy, heh. Tanjiro was laid out in his bed, his red eyes snapped away and his cheekbones sharp. In other words- he looked terrible.

"(Y/N)-San! You shouldn't be rushing around" Aoi scolded as she looked up at the girl, and (Y/N) smiled sheepishly. There was not much more to say to that, whenever Aoi scolded you- she meant it. She took a seat towards the corner of the room and sent a smile towards her demon slaying friend.

"You're finally awake" She said softly, and Tanjiro nodded. To be honest, she was also surprised that he had managed to pull through as well. Both him and her boar boyfriend had suffered some heavy blows and tons of poison running through their veins. Tanjiro looked the girl up and down, his eyes showing concern when they settled on her head bandage that was yet to be changed.

"Hey, (Y/N)-Chan. I was just asking about you" The boy smiled and she sent him a nod in return. Typical Tanjiro- always worrying more about other people than himself. Thinking for a second, she decides to open her mouth.
