Kanao managed to slice across the demons stomach, his intestines spilling out as (Y/N) sliced off his hand. His movements were quick, jerky almost- but they were adapting to them. As she watched the butterfly girl dash through the air, she couldn't help but smile ever so slightly. She was always so quiet...always walking in Shinobu's shadow. She never realized she was this talented. 

(Y/N)'s throat burned so bad. The dust from his fan was what had set her off, her skin felt like it was crawling. But she couldn't focus on that...she had to take the fucker down.

"What well trained bodies you have! They're like springs!" Doma cackled, jumping backwards and creating a puff of the same ice dust- and she spluttered. But she couldn't stop...she had to keep going. She looked behind her as she ran, seeing Kanao and Inosuke in tow. They were battling just as hard as her- they had to survive.

"Kanao, look out!" The h/c haired girl cried as she tackled Kanao, avoiding the ice spikes that fell from the ceiling. So this was his power? He could manipulate the air, freeze it at his will. It was almost impressive. She heard the girl gasp from beside her and she quickly realized why.

"You weren't holding it very tightly, so I took it! See?" The upper moon giggled as he waved Kanao's blade in the air, and (Y/N) growled- rushing towards him. If she could act as a distraction, maybe her friend would be able to get her blade back. The air filled with the icy clouds once more, and she felt her eyes begin to burn.

"Out of the sky, Lord Inosuke's comin'!" Inosuke yelled as he jumped towards the demon, and she couldn't help but smirk. Together they rushed towards the beast, cornering him whilst also covering Kanao. (Y/N) was already covered in scratches, but the butterfly girl was a lot worse off.

"You're all beaten up, what are ya' doing? Shinobu will get so mad at you!" Her boyfriend yelled as they grouped up, and she had to look at the ground to avoid the tears slipping from her e/c hues. Inosuke seemed to notice the difference in atmosphere, realizing instantly what had happened. Shinobu meant so much to everyone, she was always there for everyone. From beside her she heard Inosuke growl, and he glared up at Doma.

"I'm gonna chew you up, scum!" He screamed as he jumped towards the demon, and (Y/N) used the time they were fighting to snag back Kanao's blade.

"Don't lose it again, okay?" She smiled as she handed it back, receiving a nod in response- and they got to work. Inosuke shot his arm towards the demon, dislocating it and slashing at his eyes whilst she hopped in beside him- landing a hit on his chest.

One minute, her boyfriend was wearing his beloved mask. The next- The upper moon had stolen it, turning it backwards and forwards in his clawed hands. 

"I thought it was a mask! I was wondering how you did the eyes. Hmm...I feel like I remember that face." Doma hummed as he stared at the unmasked onyx locked boy, and Inosuke froze beside her

As they fought, Doma begin to chuckle- spitting his words. He was taunting Inosuke, saying how he knew his mother- how his mother was so abused by his father. But Doma had taken them in. Inosuke was only a baby then, but it still seemed to effect him.

"Shut up scum! Give that back!" Inosuke cried as he jumped towards the demon, tears spilling from his emerald eyes.

"Inosuke, ignore him!" (Y/N) yelped as she jumped from another ice cloud, but he didn't listen. Doma slashed at her boyfriends bare chest, wounding him heavily- and she couldn't help but cry out. Inosuke was never the most level headed, but right now with all this new information piled onto him he was even worse. She quickly rushed to his side, Kanao following suit as they pulled him back- and he gritted his teeth. 

The spiteful demon continued to go on about how one day, Inosuke's mother ran away from the temple after discovering Doma was a demon. She ran and ran and ran, baby Inosuke in her arms. And the only way to save him was to drop him off a edge of a cliff as she was eaten by the sick fuck. 

"Fate bringing us together really is a miracle. After all, the demon who killed and ate my mother is right in front of me" The bright eyed boy mumbled as blood trickled from his bare chest, looking towards (Y/N) and sending her a nod. All three of them stood in a formation, waiting for the attack.

"I'm gonna send you straight to hell!" Inosuke screamed out, and they rushed forwards, catching the upper moon by surprise. She couldn't blame her boyfriend for being so emotional. The same demon had slaughtered and eaten her younger siblings, the same demon killed his mother. And they would make him fucking pay.

"Eclipse Breathing: Fifth form. Black out!" (Y/N) hissed as she cut through Doma's arm, quickly jumping back as he unleashed another cloud attack with his fan. The attacks were getting faster and faster, more and more frequent. It was getting tough...but they had to finish this. They had to make the fucker pay. The fight was filled with so much screaming and crying from all of the slayers.

Kanao had lost her sister, Inosuke and (Y/N) had found out the truth behind their families death. They had to finish this...now.

Doma slinked away from the battle suddenly, clutching his head in pain- and he let out a slight scream. Parts of his face were beginning to melt away, turning to dust before their very eyes. He fell to the floor with another cry, and she heard Kanao gasp from beside her.

"It's working...it's actually working. (Y/N), Inosuke! Aim for his neck!" She yelled, and they wasted no time following her orders.

"What's working? Why is he melting?!" Inosuke huffed, jumping towards the man with his chipped blades poised above his head. (Y/N)'s chest burned with every single step, but she had to keep going. They were getting closer and closer to the upper moon, they were almost finished.

"Shinobu's poison! It's melting him from the inside out!" The butterfly girl exclaimed and they all jumped, ready to slash down and sever Doma's neck. But he was quicker- and with a yell, he used his blood demon art to create a massive buddha statue so he was protected.

"You slippery fuck!" (Y/N) screamed as she struggled to catch her footing. The technique had caused a massive amount of the ice dust to swarm around them, and she could feel her throat tighten. They were fucked, there was no way they could catch him now. Or so she thought.

"Flower Breathing: Final form. Equinoctial Vermilion Eye" Kanao shuddered, the white of her eyes turning blood red as she jumped forwards. (Y/N) could only watch as the statue covered Kanao in ice, her blade stuck in Doma's neck.

"Inosuke, let's go!" She screamed as she looked towards her boyfriend and they jumped upwards, their blades finally cutting through the demon's neck like butter.
