(Apologies for the very short chapter! I've had writers block in regards to this story for the past week now,,,So I hope you still enjoy! This chapter is more for bonding time with Mitsuri, after all she did train you!- Mugi!)

(Y/N) felt the smile on her face widen more and more with each step. Seeing as she had no interest in getting a new blade (somehow, her blade had survived the battle with the Upper Moon demons) she instead rushed straight to the hot springs. Tanjiro had agreed to meet her there after he had finished talking to the sword smiths, so she'd have to get there quickly. Her legs burned slightly as she made her way up the steps, but she was too excited to care.

"(Y/N)-CHAN!" She hears a voice exclaim, and she looks around frantically. What the heck? Was this a symptom of her head injury? Shrugging it off she continued up the small steps to the springs. Until it came again.

"(Y/N)-CHAN! OVER HERE!" The voice called again, and she couldn't place who it was. It sounded so damn familiar. She runs a hand through her h/c hair, and she finally spots the figure. There was a very familiar girl was stood in the hot springs, her arms waving in the air.

"Mitsuri!" She grinned, and she dashed up the rest of the stairs. She should have known who the voice belonged to! Mitsuri was always frequenting the hot springs, so it was no surprise to see her there. As she approached her teacher, she tried her best to avert her eyes. After all, she was completely naked so she didn't want to invade her privacy. She heard splashing as she kept her head tilted to the side, and arms were suddenly thrown around her.

"I haven't seen you in so long!" The pink haired girl cried, hugging (Y/N) tight to her chest. She had a floral robe on now but she could still feel the water droplets sinking into her uniform.

"It's nice to see you too" (Y/N) giggled as she hugged Mitsuri back. Their bond was still incredibly sister-like, you wouldn't tell that she was Kanroji-San's Tsuguko. Mitsuri pulled away from the hug with a huge grin on her face, and she booped the girls nose.

"I was wondering when I would see you next! Let's catch up" She squealed, and she jumped back into the hot springs- (Y/N) following awkwardly.

The water bubbling around her body was so relaxing, she could have fallen asleep right there and then. She hummed, and struggled to keep her eyes from fluttering shut. A smirk made it's way onto her face as a thought entered her mind.

"So, Mitsuri-Chan, how's Obanai-San?" (Y/N) asked in a teasing tone, giggling as Mitsuri turned bright red. She asked this question every time she met with Mitsuri- and it never failed to fluster her.

"H-he's good!" She stuttered out, and the smirk on (Y/N)'s face grew. Back when she was training with Mitsuri and the two lived together, she would constantly go on about Iguro. She'd gush about how well he fights, how cute he is- heck, even how nice he smelt! Mitsuri cleared her throat, and a sly look flashed in her green hues.

"How's boar boy!? You seemed all over him when I saw you last" She said triumphantly, and (Y/N) choked slightly. She should have known that Mitsuri would play dirty!

"He's actually my boyfriend now" (Y/N) muttered as she played with a strand of her h/c locks. Her hair had grown back quite nicely since she lost most of it in the spider forest- meaning she could hide behind it a lot more efficiently. The pink haired girl squealed and she waded across the water, and cupped her face with her hands.

"My my! My (Y/N)-Chan is growing up so fast! Let me know if he's ever mean, I'll have a chat with him" She said in a protective tone, and (Y/N) couldn't help but let out a giggle. In another life, she would pay all the money in the world if it meant being reincarnated as Mitsuri's sister. She wiggled free from the girls grip, and they heard footsteps approach- causing her ears to perk up.

"That must be Tanjiro!"
