"Father, father!" (Y/N) called as she waved her arms, greeting her father. He had been gone for 2 months- away on a 'business trip'. From a young age, she had a suspicion that it was nothing to do with business...but she was smart enough to not question it. Her father came into view finally and he sent her a wave back. His face was stone cold as usual, his long h/c hair tied back and making him look even angrier.

"I missed you!" The young girl grinned as she rushed up to him, wrapping her small arms around his torso. She didn't know what had come over her...she knew her father wasn't one for affection. But in that moment she just couldn't help herself. Her father immediately froze up- awkward and like a statue.

"(Y/N), dear, your father is very tired. Leave him be" She heard her mother coo as she was tugged away, and she felt her mother take her hand. (Y/F/N) relaxed as soon as she let go and he sniffed slightly, and then he stalked off. Whilst he walked towards the house, (Y/N) saw him slightly graze the sword attached to his hip. These were one of the many moments where she realized her father was hiding something...but she would never know what.

-----------------------------------------------------------

"I think...I think it was my dad" She whispered as she looked down at the ground, her hands curling into fists that sat by her side. Tanjiro quirked an eyebrow as he let the information register in his brain. With a jagged sigh, (Y/N) pulled the flame haori tighter around her body. She wasn't cold- after all it was the middle of spring in Japan. But something about what she had just uncovered sent shivers up her body. Muichiro coughed from beside them, snapping them out of their trance.

"Sorry to ruin your moment, but I need to talk to Tanjiro about something" He spoke in a monotone, his face bored. The girl scoffed slightly before nodding, rolling her e/c eyes. Muichiro was a very demanding bastard that was for sure- but she couldn't bring herself to completely dislike him. The two boys broke out into conversation about swords, whilst (Y/N) laid back on the floor.

'I wonder what Ino is doing right now?' She pondered to herself as she stared up at the paper ceiling, her stomach filling with butterflies just at the mention of the boys name. It had been weeks since she saw the feral boy and she missed him so much. Whilst she was busy melting in a puddle on the floor, a scratch filled the room.

"Oh, is someone there?" Tanjiro asked as he tilted his head, and in a split second the door is slid open. A grotesque figure begins to slither between the gap, and (Y/N) has to fight back the urge to gag.

"What the fuck is that?!" She exclaimed as she scrambled to her knees, her eyes wide. Surely if this was an ordinary demon they would have been able to sense it's presence, but it had masked itself so well. Just as she was about to grab her sword from her hip- The Mist Pillar dashed forward, the bored expression on his face never faltering.

"Breath of Mist, Fourth Form: Advection Slash" He mumbled to himself as he sliced at the demon, but it dodged the attack and dug its sharp claws into the ceiling. It was such an ugly creature, even it's presence made her want to vomit.

"Stop it, don't bully me" It cried in a shrill voice, and the girl gritted her teeth. How pathetic. This thing had killed hundreds of people, there was no way in hell she was going to show it mercy. Unsheathing her sword she took a deep breath and propelled her arm in the air.

"Breath of Eclipse, First Form: Astronomical flow!" She yelled, moving her body as her blade set alight and stabbed through the paper material. But to no avail, they missed again. The demon dropped to the floor with a cry and curled up into a ball. What a pussy. Before (Y/N) could attack again, Nezuko came flying past her: and she booted the demon in the stomach. Finally, they got a hit on it!

"Nezuko, don't transform here!" Tanjiro cried as he dashed towards his little sister with concern. In all honesty, he was right. They saw what she became when they fought at the red light district- it was far too dangerous for her to do the same here. (Y/N) chewed her lip as she looked between the siblings and the demon, and without second thought she ran forwards once more- unleashing the same attack and finally severing the things head.

"Score!" She grinned as it's head rolled across the floor, and even Muichiro seemed to be impressed. That was until the red haired boy let out a cry and backed away.

"(Y/N), this is an upper moon! He can't be killed that easily!" Tanjiro cried, and he was correct. As the head came to a stop, arms and legs began growing from it in a disgusting manner. Shit! So this was how it was going to be! Every time they severed part of it's body, it would just duplicate?

"I'll take the one behind!" (Y/N) yelled as she jumped back, sucking in a breath between her teeth. This was going to be tough, there was no doubt about it. The pillar and Tanjiro sent her a nod as they focused on the initial demon, and she focused her energy on the new one. It clutched a wand shaped like a leaf between it's clawed hands and just before she could swing at it- light filled the room and the 4 kids were thrown backwards out the building. She let out a scream as she felt the air bellow beneath her body, her blood cold and the hairs on her arm stood upright. A hand wrapped around her wrist however, stopping her from falling to her death.

"Tanjiro?!" She gasped as they hung off the side of the building. Tanjiro had a tight grip on her wrist, and Nezuko had a tight grip on her brothers. If Nezuko hadn't of transformed then and there- they'd be dead, that much was certain. The demon girl hauled them both up, and (Y/N) groaned as she pulled her weight onto the collapsing edge of the building. The two upper moons stood side by side, the one with the leaf wand smirking.

"Do we have to cut their heads off at the same time again?!" Tanjiro whisper yelled, and (Y/N) gulped. If that was the case, it couldn't be too hard right? The only reason the sibling upper moons were so difficult to kill was because they had insane abilities- these demons just had staffs. That was what she thought until lighting filled the air and she let a scream leave her body. What the fuck! One of the demons had slammed their staff down onto the floor...that's what was causing this electricity! As she felt her e/c hues flutter and her body turn heavy, she spotted a figure on top of the broken roof. A gun was clutched in their hands, and she gasped.

"Genya?!"
