It had been a long day for you, you spent all day doing things around town and trying to get your new book published. After the final interview you came home thinking to yourself "oh I hope it gets published." you hoped it would, this book you had written meant a lot to you and it was time that story got out there. You made it back to Dorians house and walked inside, closing the door behind you. you sighed and took your coat off before hanging it up, you were about to go upstairs to lie down when you heard a voice. "Ah there you are darling, tell me how did it go?" you knew that voice all too well. "Hello Dorian, I uh..well it is not published yet. I certainly hope it does. Also I had quite a long hard day." you said. "I see, why don't you go to our room and lie down while I fetch you a cup of tea."

"That would be lovely darling thank you, but I really..." "Nonsense, you had a long hard day and you deserve something special, something to make your day better. Now, go upstairs and relax and I will be up there with your tea." you smiled and went upstairs to yours and his room. you lied there in bed, a few minutes later Dorian returned with a cup of tea and a book in his other hand. You took the tea from him, took a sip and set it down on the nightstand next to you. "Thank you darling." you said. "Of course dear, now get comfortable and allow me to read this to you." you glanced at the cover of the book and it read Sherlock holmes, your eyes widened. "my favorite! my god dorian how did you know that?" he laughed. "I saw you reading it the other night in my library, I noticed you weren't quite done with it yet so I thought I would continue the story for you." you smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "I love you so much." "I love you too darling." he replied. Dorian opened the book and read to you while you drank your tea. After you finished your tea you set the cup down and snuggled up next to him as he read the book. After a couple chapters he noticed you had fallen asleep. He smiled and set the book down, kissed your forehead and fell asleep next to you. He was glad that he could make your day better.
