Dorian Gray (Joining the league)

(In this imagine, Dorian, as well as the rest of the League decide whether or not you should join the league of extraordinary gentleman.) 

The league was gathered in the map room on the ship, they were already on a mission but called a gathering to discuss you. Dorian kept insisting that you join the league, explaining to Quartermain that you can be useful. Most of the league agreed but Mina did not. She had her reasons for that of course. "She cannot be allowed." she said to the members of the league. "I swear when she's around it becomes a distraction for Dorian. All he wants to do is flirt with her, no doubt sleep with her." Quartermain pressed two fingers to his forehead, he sighed. "Mina, I understand your concern, but Y/N is a very powerful young individual. Her powers are beyond our imagining and it can be useful to us. If we want this war to end we must allow it." said Quartermain. "He's right, the lass is useful. And did I mention she impressed me the other day, I swear she knew all about my culture! all about the Turks! She is a bright woman indeed, very intelligent." said Captain Nemo. "I agree with Nemo, last night I was working on an elixir to prevent Hyde from coming out again. I was frustrated and couldn't figure out what I was missing and to my luck she gave me the solution. In the end my elixir was a success! We need her in this league." said Dr.Jekyll. Mina sighed and crossed her arms. 

"Alright you proved that she is useful, but I still have my opinions on her. I think I can allow it, as long as Dorian can behave himself." she said. Dorian almost smirked. "I believe I can Mina, and yes I do have my plans for her. They can get out of hand most times I admit however, I am capable of learning to control it, balance it as they say." he said. "Are you sure Dorian? and you're not just saying that." Mina added. "I swear it, after all I am a grown man and I must learn to act like it despite the other side of me which is still a child." he said. The others laughed a bit, Mina kept a straight face at first but then she let a slight smirk appear on her face. 

"Very well then! it is settled. Dorian, why don't you tell Y/N that she is now a member of the league of extraordinary gentleman." said Quartermain. Dorian nearly jumped when he heard those words. "thank you sir!" he said before running off to tell you the news. 

You were on the deck writing in your journal when you heard the door open and close, then a voice you knew all too well. "Y/N! they allowed it! you're a member of the league now!" he said excitedly. You gasped in excitement. "I am?!" you said. "Would I be lying my dear?" he said with a smirk. You laughed. "Oh I know you're not!" you said with a laugh before embracing one another. "I am so happy darling! I swear I will serve this league well, even if I must sacrifice everything I have for it." you said letting go of him. Dorian only smiled and moved a piece of your hair behind your ear. "And I shall be at your side always, I love you so much Y/N." "I love you too Dorian." and with that you sealed it with a kiss. Knowing that you would serve the league well.
