You sat on your bed, cross legged, and placed a journal on your lap. you opened the journal and began to write.
I have known Dorian for some time now, he is always kind towards me, even though Mina despises it. She always had her opinions about the two of us being around one another. "I am concerned I have let things slip through for too long, he is a distraction to you while you should be focused at the task at hand." I could hear her say those words in my head, just hearing that made me roll my eyes. "He is unreliable, emotionally damaged, and....oh yes a big distraction." I still have my issues with Mina, but I remain as one of her allies. I also remain as an ally to the league, I must always be that way. Besides, the league is all that I have until I reach home. I spend so much time with Dorian not only because he is kind but I have developed feelings for him over the past few months, and I feel as if I cannot have him. He is a man I deeply care about but can't have. It is like saying a mortal girl can fall in love with a monster but yet she cannot have him because of his dark powers. I want to tell Dorian how I feel but, I am afraid someone might catch us. The league has been extra cautious due to the events of late, I swear if those Germans try to kill us they will go through me first. I would at least show I loved Dorian by standing up for him instead of the opposite. I never believed in the idea of a man doing all of the work while the woman cried and cowered in fear. I am a strong woman, more than capable of defending myself. I wonder if Dorian envies that about me? whatever it doesn't matter now, I just thought I would write it down.
After a while you stopped writing and closed your journal, at least you thought you did. What you didn't realize was that you had left it open on your bed, open to the page that you had written all of those things down on. While you weren't in your room someone found your journal, a hand reached to grab it, picked it up and was held in someone's hands. Dorian smirked "So, she keeps a journal, I hope she wouldn't mind me reading it." he muttered. Dorian read each sentence word for word, his expression changed as he continued to read it. Your words were very convincing and it left Dorian in awe. "Y/N loves me, I mean...who am I kidding of course she does I knew that!" he said to himself. "oh come on Dorian you didn't know don't lie to yourself, Y/N clearly loves you and you did not know." he cursed at himself. When he couldn't take it anymore he closed the book, dropped it onto the bed and went to find you. He found you standing in front of the fireplace, looking into the orange and yellow flames. You heard footsteps causing you to turn around, you saw Dorian walking at a fast pace towards you. As if he was angry. "Dorian." was all you said before he suddenly let his lips crash against yours. You were surprised at first but then melted into the kiss. You both stayed like that for a minute before letting go. "You read my journal didn't you." you said. Dorian looked down as if he were guilty. "Y/N.." he started. you shut him up with a kiss, which he gladly accepted. "Shut up gray, just say it to me." you said. He chuckled. "Alright, I love you too." he laughed. And you both sealed it with a kiss. Needless to say Mina was going to have to deal with a lot more now, but you didn't care. All you cared about was that you fell in love with the man you wrote about.
