(In this imagine Lestat notices you haven't eaten for the third time that week, he begins to suspect that something is wrong)
the servants of Pointe Du Lac prepared another dinner for you, you were the only one in the household that actually ate, besides the rest of the servants who worked on the plantation. Lestat had noticed you didn't touch your food for the third time that week. It seemed that you hadn't eaten in a few days, this really concerned Lestat as well as Louis. The servants thought nothing of it and would give your food to another servant who was hungry. Lestat knew you were mortal and so did Louis, seeing you like that really made them suspicious. You were the one who would always eat when it came time to, and needless to say you were a great eater. Lestat could remember the day he first met you and he saw how you ate a big meal with no problem at all.
"Are you not hungry my lady?" asked the female servant, she stood in before you as if she was ready to take your plate. You shook your head. "No ma'am, I'm not hungry. you may take my plate now." you said, looking away as if you were guilty of something. the servant only nodded and took your plate, leaving the room to give your food to someone else. At that point Lestat was even more concerned, he knew it was time he found out the truth. He turned to Louis. "Louis, would you mind leaving me and Y/N alone for a moment? I wish to speak with her privately." he asked. Louis nodded and got up. "Of course, I will be in the drawing room if you need me." he said before leaving the room. Walking at mortal pace to pass for human.
Lestat sighed and turned to you "Y/N, I am concerned for you. I feel as if it has been days since you have eaten, is there something wrong?" he asked. You shook your head "Nothing's wrong Lestat, I'm just not hungry and I haven't been feeling well as of late." you said. Lestat read your thoughts to see if you were lying, and it seemed you were right but there was something else as well. His eyes widened and he went to touch your neck. You recoiled. "Lestat? what are you doing? don't touch me." you said. He moved your hair to the side and noticed two puncture wounds on your neck, they were almost healed but he could feel that you had lost blood. He had no choice but to look into your visions and what he saw was shocking to him. "You were bitten by one of our kind! You are close to being at the point of death." he said shockingly. You sighed. "Alright, I was bitten. I didn't want to tell you....I know how angry you get at those things and I didn't want to see you that way as I know you would hunt that bastard down and kill it." you said. Lestat took your hand in his, telling you to look at him. "Darling, if anything like that happens don't be afraid to tell me, it is better to tell the truth then to not say a word." he said. his expression soft and calming. "Lestat, I'm sorry.... I didn't want to get bitten I warned them about you and..." you choked on tears. Lestat wiped them away with his thumb. "You don't have to say anymore love, I know.... I can sense that it hurts to much to explain it. We may discuss this later but for now you must get back to health." he said. He helped you up and brought you upstairs to your room. You lied down in bed while Lestat ordered the servants to tend to you.
"It will be done master, we shall get her back to health." said the servant to Lestat. "Thank you ma cher, I trust you will take good care of her." he said. The servant curtsied before leaving to fetch some things to help you feel better. You learned later on that you would recover very easily, which was good news. "Lestat, thank you." you said. He smiled and sat down next to you. "of course my love." he said before kissing your forehead. "Lestat? mind if I ask you something?" you asked. he nodded. "of course." he said softly. "You wouldn't give me the dark gift unless I was ready yes?" you asked. "Certainly not, not unless you and I both knew it was the right time." he said. You smiled a bit and nodded. "How are you feeling now?" he asked. "I'm ok, my stomach hurts a bit but I'm alright." you said. "Just give it some time love, you will be better before you know it." he said. You laughed. "And I'll be that big eater that I am, the one that shocked you." you said, earning a chuckle from him. "Yes, which I was surprised to see. I have never seen a woman do that before with food or drinks. I had only seen men like that." he said. making you both laugh a bit.
You clutched your stomach as it hurt when you laughed. "Rest now love, take the time you need to heal." he said. He was about to get up when you grabbed his arm. "wait, can you stay with me? I don't want to fight this alone." you said. Lestat smiled. "Of course love." he said. He crawled into bed with you and held you in his arms. "Thank you Lestat, I don't know what I would do without you....(yawns) I love you." you yawned. "what?" he said, a blush coming to his face. You rolled your eyes and sat up, trying to be careful. Your lips touched his, giving him a quick kiss. "I said, I love you." you said again. That was all he needed to hear to let his lips touch yours, giving you a passionate kiss. He pulled away after a minute. "I love you too Y/N" he said. "Now get some rest." he said. You closed your eyes and rested your head on his chest. Lestat held you close and stroked your hair as you slept. "I have fallen for this mortal girl, the feeling was there but I didn't show it completely until now. I shall protect her and love her for all eternity." he thought to himself. He not only had fallen for you that night but stayed with you until you were well again.
