Green

Avenger's compound:

Peter rolled over in bed, reaching for his girlfriend, who wasn't by his side. They'd been together for 6 months and not once had he woken up alone.

  "Molls?" He called out, sitting up.

He looked around, spotting Molly by the window. He back was to him.

"Baby?" He asked "Is everything okay?"

She turned to him, her eyes were red.

"The hospital just called." She said quietly "About your Aunt's treatment plan."

Peter looked down.

"Oh."

"Why didn't you tell me May was sick?"

He sighed, grabbing her hand.

"Cause if I told you, then it was real. And if it becomes real then I have to except that..." His voice started "I'm gonna lose her."

He started to cry.

"I can't lose her. Aunt May and you, you're some of the only people in the world I can handle losing."

He pulled her close. She took a deep breath. She wanted to lie to him. Tell him everything was okay but they didn't lie to each other. No matter how bad it was.

"I lied and said I was your fiance." She said quietly "They said the treatment isn't working. They're looking into a different plan."

He breathed deeply, nodding. 

  "I'm gonna lose her." He whispered

"No. No you're not." She assured him

"Molly, she has cancer. Her treatment plan was chemo therapy. If it's not working..."

"Baby. It's okay. Everything's going to be okay."

A knock came at the door.

"Hey guys, come eat. I rescued the kitchen from Steve." Bucky's voice said.

Peter composed himself.

"Alright!" He called back.

He walked towards the door and opened it. The smell of eggs and bacon wafted down the hall and into the their room. Molly smiled weakly.

"I'll be there in a minute." She said, gesturing for Peter to go.

As soon as he was down the hall, she ran to the bathroom and bent over the toilet, dry heaving. She looked up to see Wanda standing in the doorway.

"How long?" Wanda asked

"Three months." She whispered

Wanda sighed.

"Does he know?"

She shook her head.

"Come on." Wanda said "Lets get you fed. You have to eat."

She helped Molly up off the ground and led her to the kitchen. She handed her some toast and smiled softly. Bucky went to say something about her eating more and Wanda gave him a look, shaking her head.

"Plant lady struck again!" Bruce said from his lab

He was excited.

"Plant Lady?" Molly asked

"The lady with the vines. Remember? Catching random bad guys throughout the city?" Peter said

"Oh yeah."

"She's so cool." Loki said from the corner.

Tony's eyes were on the TV.

"She's in trouble." He said

Their eyes shot over to the TV. A blonde woman was getting man handled by three people in purple. They were wreaking havoc in Manhattan. Thor summoned his hammer and Steve grabbed his shield, looking back at the other avengers. The began to follow him.

"Stay here." Wanda whispered to Molly

Manhattan:

Peter swung into the scene, landing in front of "plant lady". The three figures tried to blast him with ice. He turned on his suit's heater. It wasn't enough.

"Ah come on!"  He complained

"Holy shit that's a kid." The woman yelled

She wrapped Peter in vines, protecting him from the cold blast.

"Not okay!" Steve yelled, throwing his shield at one of the purple clad people.

The hit the ground. Loki landed beside him, shooting a blast of blue light towards one of their guns.

"Don't touch my boy." Loki said

"That's my boy thank you very much." Tony said, landing beside the two men.

He shot a net, catching the three villains before turning to the woman.

  "Vines don't do much against guns do they." He said.

   "Normally. They do." She sighed, tapping the frozen vines and watching as they shattered "Its ice they don't fair well with."

Loki chuckled.

  "You have a name or should we continue calling you plant lady?" Tony asked

"Ivory." The woman said "Ivory Greene."
