Molly's Queens Apartment:
A knock came at the door and Molly's very drunk mother stumbled over to answer it.
"Hello Sarah." Loki said as the door swung open "Miss me?"
A cold look came over the drunk woman's face.
"What are you doing here?" She snapped in a slurred voice.
"Well I was going to invite you for a drink but I see you've beat me to it." He said coldly "Much like you've been doing to our child."
"My child." Sarah replied "mine. Not yours. You left."
"You have as much right to call yourself her mother as I do to call myself her father." He growled "I left, yes. But you, you have hurt her. Scarred her even."
He pushed his way into the apartment, Bucky followed fully dressed in his winter soldier garb.
"She is terrified of you. Behaves as though you still have control over her."
"She is my child, I do-"
"You do not!" Loki yelled "A parent's job is to love and guide their children. To protect them! When I left I thought I was keeping the monsters out of her life. Judging by the bruises and scars, I was wrong."
"She deserv-"
Bucky stepped up to Loki's side as the God's eyes turned red.
"Don't you DARE say she deserved it. No one deserves abuse. Not a single soul." He yelled
He backed Sarah up against a wall, his hand hovering above her throat.
"How does it feel?" He yelled in her face "To be scared in your own home. For someone who at one point claimed to love you to have your life in their hands? To be threatened by someone who claimed to care?"
He smirked.
"How does it feel to know I could kill you?" He whispered in her ear.
Bucky pulled him back, unwilling to go that far again. Loki composed himself.
"Let Molly ever tell me you put your hands on her again and I will." He whispered "I swear on my brother's life."
The two men swept from the apartment.
"Feel better?" Bucky asked
Loki sighed.
"Wish I'd killed her." He whispered
"I don't think Molly would approve." Bucky chuckled.
He knew for a fact abused children don't take kindly to their abusers being actually harmed.
