Jotunnheim:
"Won't come for you huh?" One of them asked, mocking her.
"Dad!" Molly screamed trying to get even the smallest reaction from Loki.
Peter swung past them and slipped into the cell. He draped a jacket over her shoulders and slipped back out, now attempting to pick the lock.
An ice giant growled and swiped at peter. He dodged it, diving backwards. The cell door popped open slightly.
"They teach you that in school now?" Steve asked in his earpiece
"No." Peter chuckled "Queens taught me that."
Out of the corner of her eye, Molly saw one of the giants throw Loki across the room. He hit the ice. Hard. Molly watched as his skin started to turn blue.
"No!" She screamed.
Her eyes turned red. It was as though the red dye faded from her hair, leaving her natural silky black curls.
Peter watched as a thick black cloud of smoke surrounded Molly.
"Don't touch him!" She yelled
The ice cracked on either side of her, calling up two large, supernatural looking wolves. Heavy black vines wrapped around the legs of the frost giants and the wolves attacked. The smoke clouded the Avengers' vision but they could hear the cries for help from the giants.
When the smoke cleared, Molly collapsed. The red color still gone from her hair.
She crawled weakly, almost sliding over to Loki.
"Loki?" She asked quietly "Loki?"
There was no response. She laid her head on his chest to hear his heartbeat.
"Dad?" She asked hoarsely, trying not to cry "Dad. Please wake up."
She felt weak.
"Please." She muttered as she too went unconscious
Peter scooped her up in his arms and watched as Thor threw Loki over his shoulder.
"Is he-" Peter started
Thor shook his head.
"I'm not entirely sure my brother can die. He just fakes it until it gets boring." Thor said in complete seriousness.
"Let's get them home." Steve said "we can figure out what happened later."
