Chapter 15 - Different

"Taehyung... What's going on?!" Yoongi aks in a broken voice, scared.

Taehyung, or rather, V growls lowly in his throat in irritation, which causes the shorter to whimper slightly.

"I'm not Taehyung, sweetheart." The vampire reminds him, his eyes momentarily glowing red.

Yoongi feels a terrifying shiver run down his spine. This V... Something about him was horrifying. Something Yoongi has never seen in his two hundred years of life. Well, half-life.

"Right... V, can you tell me what's going on?" He repeats, gulping hard.

He didn't want to annoy the guy standing in front of him even more. God knows what he'd do to him.

He hears V release a low chuckle, and the hairs in his skin rise like antennas, alerting him of the danger he was in.

"Isn't it obvious?" He says, tilting his head teasingly. He gets closer to the older and whispers in his ear, "I'm hungry, Yoongi-ssi."

*What..?! He can't be talking about me, right? I-I'm a vampire like him, my blood's not supposed to attract him!*

V licks his lips seductively with a light moan, a creepy smile playing on his lips as he stares lustfully at the boy's neck.

"Yeah, about that." He smiles devilishly, "Human or not, as long as you have blood running through your pretty veins... I want every single drop of it."

A growl resonates low in his throat, and Yoongi feels his skin crawl uncomfortably as if insects were creeping up his body. V's taunting smile drops as he closes up on the older vampire, ready to claim the sweet liquid underneath Yoongi's pale, milky skin.

It feels like a nightmare. Yoongi has never had to confront a vampire like this before because of blood. His own blood. It didn't make sense... Why did Taehyung- why did V want to drink his blood? It wasn't sweet and tasty like humans' blood. It wasn't even supposed to be considered 'drinkable' for other vampires. So why?!

He sees V flashing him a devilish smirk, his eyes glowing red intensely, lighting up the night in a menacing, horrendous way. He slightly parts his lips and Yoongi senses the fear all over his body when he sees V's sharp fangs, his tongue teasingly grazing against the white, pearly teeth.

He releases a terrified scream as V laughs maniacally and pins him hard against the wall, leaving him no escape. The taller swallows, feeling the insatiable thirst take over his senses. In seconds, he goes to attack Yoongi's fragile, vulnerable neck, wanting to just sink his teeth in already.

The older whimpers and cries, unable to do anything other than wait for the other to devour him alive, to bite his neck and drink every last drop of his precious blood. But thankfully, that never came.

When Yoongi opened his eyes to see what had happened, he gasps, seeing V knocked out on the floor with a wide bruise on the side of his face, bleeding harshly.

And next to his body, stood Namjoon.

"Are you okay?" The younger asked, looking at Yoongi worriedly, wiping the blood that had splattered on his jaw when he gave the red haired vampire a strong blow.

Weak and powerless, Yoongi fell to the ground in an ungraceful manner, his face carrying an expression of both shock and fear. Namjoon quickly came to his side and held the older by his arm, gently pulling him up to his feet.

"Muff- I mean, Yoongi... What happened?" Namjoon questioned, feeling hurt at the sight of his ex's terrified state. "Who is this guy and why was he attacking you?"

Yoongi shook his head. He himself couldn't believe what had just happened.

"Namjoon... Take me and Taehyung to your lair." He demanded, his eyes locked on the younger vampire, who still laid on the ground, motionless.
