Sorry for the late update, I've been a bit busy lately 😅

"So he just simply backed away out of nowhere?"
The black haired boy nodded slowly, looking down at his food with a bored expression, not really feeling hungry at the moment.
"Wow Jimin, what did you do to the poor guy?" His friend asked with a little chuckle.
Jimin looked up at the red haired male, giving him a glare, "I didn't do anything. One second he's all happy, the other he's acting all weird and distant." The shorter explained, still not cracking a smile.
Hoseok sighed and thought for a second. He couldn't deny that the situation was truly weird. Taehyung and Jimin have been best friends since they were little kids and they always shared everything with each other. Literally everything.
He didn't want to say what he was thinking, but he knew the issue had to be addressed, so he took a deep breath before speaking.
"Have you considered that maybe... He's going through something and just doesn't want to say anything?" He dared, already flinching back, knowing exactly what to expect from the younger.
Jimin stabbed the meat on his plate with the fork in such brutality, that he almost penetrated the porcelain plate, his stare slowly meeting Hoseok's, who was already cursing in his head in fear.
"If there's something going on, he'd tell me. If he was feeling bad about something, he'd tell me. If he was just having a bad day, he'd tell me. There are no secrets between us." Jimin stated, gritting his teeth.
"Well huh, you said he spent months in Japan. Maybe something happened...?" Hoseok asked, trying to think of an excuse as to not have the shorter kill him.
"Like what? All he did over there was spend time at home and go to the gym-" Jimin started but immediately cut himself off as a thought came to mind.
"What?" The older asked curiously, seeing the glint in Jimin's eyes get darker.
"Izumi..." He mumbled to himself, remembering Taehyung had actually met someone during their vacation.
"Sorry, who?" Hoseok questioned, confused.
"Taehyung met this guy in Tokyo when he went to the gym. He said he was cute." Jimin said the last part with pure bitterness, the image of Taehyung with another guy making him feel repulsed.
Hoseok blinked twice, making sure his ears heard well. When he was sure he was indeed right, he wanted to laugh hysterically.
"You're kidding me, right?! You think Taehyung fell in love with that Japanese dude?" Hoseok asked, the dumbfounded expression on his face making Jimin feel offended.
"I mean, it's possible. I hate to admit it but that might be it." Jimin said, looking down.
Except not because Taehyung's been in love with you for years but you're too dumb to see it.
"I sincerely doubt that." The older responded.
But Jimin wasn't so sure, and it scared him a little. He really hoped Taehyung wasn't having some sort of fling with that Izumi guy. That couldn't happen.
"I hope you're right..." The shorter mumbled, still looking down.
Hoseok sighed as he looked at his friend. He knew that the two boys had been inseparable since day one, and sometimes people would actually mistake them for a couple. Though, Hoseok wasn't sure if it really was a mistake.
