This is a little better at least, I promise.

"Great, that was great, Jimin. Absolutely stunning, as always." Hoseok commented, applauding for the younger as he came to his final position.

"You really think so?" Jimin asked, a bit discouraged. He did think he did good, yet something was off.

The older stepped close to his friend and placed both hands on the boy's shoulders, giving him a bright smile.

"Jimin, that was amazing. Don't you dare say it wasn't." He said, making Jimin chuckle.

"Thanks, hyung."

Yet... Something wasn't right.

"But are you really sure?" Jimin asked, frowning at the taller. "I mean, I like the choreo too and I think I did well enough, but still..."

"You feel like there's something missing, don't you?" Hoseok finished for him, sighing.

Jimin nodded, biting his lip. He felt a bit pressured because of this. He had to present a solo for the competition, but he was unsatisfied with it and now he didn't have time to come up with a new one given there was only two months left for the competition. There was no time to do something different now...

"So, what do I do? I can't change the choreo now, hyung!" He whined, falling into despair.

Hoseok rubbed his shoulders to comfort him. "Hey, it's okay, Jimin. We'll find a solution. Maybe if you change a few steps, then–"

"No, that's not it." Jimin interrupted, gently taking his friend's hands away so he can go get a towel for his sweat. "I reviewed the choreo time and time again and tried changing it multiple times but nothing works. This choreo is good, I know that. It's just... Ugh, I don't know."

The older chuckled, seeing Jimin violently drying his dark hair with the towel as he rambled.

"Well... Then maybe the problem isn't the choreo itself. It could be the way you present it." He observes, smiling faintly as an idea came to mind.

"Yeah? You think so? Then should I try slower movements when the beat of the song drops or-"

"No, Jimin, that's not what I meant." Hoseok said.

Jimin frowned once again, this time confused.

"I mean, maybe... Just maybe, the fact that this is a solo is the problem. I feel like maybe the choreo would work better if you did it with someone else."

Jimin raised an eyebrow, blinking a few times. "You mean like a duo?" He asked.

The red haired male nodded, smiling at the younger.

"But everyone else is already so busy with the main choreo, I can't ask them to work double time just to join me. It wouldn't be fair for them..."

"Hmm, that's true." Hoseok agreed. "Well, then... What if you ask someone outside the team?" He suggested.

Jimin furrowed his eyebrows. "Who?"

"I don't know, is there someone you know who can dance?" Hoseok asks, shrugging.

The younger looked down, thinking for a moment.

"I would say Izumi, but he's entering the competition against us so there's no way he'd accept joining us." Hoseok said, more to himself as he too, thought of a solution.

Jimin almost threw up at the idea. Izumi was a definite no-no.

"Eww, Hobi-hyung how could you even suggest that?!" Jimin scrunched up his nose as if he had smelled something awful.
