Holy shit I know I've been gone for a while I'm so sorry omg!!
Ugh, I wrote this little thing in like a whole damn week, just how lazy am I? I seriously need to find more motivation :')
****It was awkward, to say the least. Taehyung could barely look at Jimin in the eyes without his heartbeat speeding up like crazy and his face becoming red like a tomato.
He had been avoiding Jimin for a while now, still too embarrassed to face him. He knew Jimin didn't remember anything about that...*moment* but Taehyung did. Jimin's touch, Jimin's lips against his, Jimin's beautiful voice... And it was eating him alive.
Ugh why does V have to be so thirsty all the time?! he internally groaned.
Taehyung even considered skipping school entirely on that day, but his mother wouldn't let him. And since he and Jimin had most of their classes together, he would have to face him.
He was currently standing in front of the classroom door, gaining up the courage to walk inside. He gulped down the lump in his throat and exhaled deeply. He could do this. All he had to do was pretend it never happened. *Just erase it from your mind*, he told himself.
Well... Here goes nothing.
The second he entered, all eyes settled on him. But that's expected when you're late, obviously. The teacher scolded the boy and Taehyung quickly mumbled an apology before hesitantly making his way to his seat, keeping his head down.
The moment he lifts his head, he feels a rush of relief, yet also concern. Jimin wasn't there. Taehyung quickly makes his way to the seat behind Hoseok, setting down his bag.
"Pst, hyung." He whispered, calling the older male. Hoseok turned to him, raising an eyebrow. "Where's Jimin?"
The older shrugged a little. "He called me up saying he was feeling weird and decided to skip classes today." He simply said.
"What? Jimin's sick?!" Taehyung whisper-shouted. Oh God... Is it my fault? Don't tell me that the kiss cursed him or something!
"Yeah, he's staying at home for now until he gets better. I'm planning on seeing him after classes, wanna come with?" Hoseok asked, smirking at the younger.
Taehyung didn't hesitate to nod. Yeah, he was still pretty nervous about facing his best friend after what happened, but making sure Jimin was okay was his number one priority.
****
Not even a second after the school bell rang, Taehyung was rushing towards the exit, Hoseok following right behind, trying not to run into other students in the hallways.
"Hey, I know you're really worried about seeing your sick soulmate and all, but could you please walk a bit slower? I'm too old for this shit. Besides, it's not like he's going anywhere!" The older complained, trying to keep up with the younger's fast pacing.
Seeing his friend nearly get mobbed by a hellish crowd of teenagers, Taehyung chuckled and stopped for a moment, waiting for Hoseok to break free from the crowd.
"Sorry, hyung, I'm just really worried about him. We can go slower." Taehyung assured, receiving a thankful smile from the older.
They finally turned to leave the school grounds but a voice suddenly called out to Taehyung, making him stop in his tracks.
"Hey, senpai!" Izumi cheerfully greeted, a big smile on his face.
Hoseok rolled his eyes, the gesture thankfully going unnoticed by the blue haired male.
