A few years passed after Yoongi met Namjoon on that day. They got along weirdly well and were never seen without one another. Yoongi still thought they were an odd combination but at least, with Namjoon by his side, nothing bad ever happened to him again. The bullies stopped bothering him.

He was sure that only happened because Namjoon kept intimidating them. Well, his dad was a cop, so of course any bad guy feared what could happen to them if they ever tried messing with the boy.

Yoongi was grateful to have him by his side. But sometimes... He had this weird feeling that Namjoon wasn't who he claimed to be. He couldn't quite tell what it was, but something about him made Yoongi think he was hiding something.

"You okay, muffin?" His boyfriend's voice snapped him out of his thoughts, making him turn his head to look up at the taller.

Oh yeah, another thing. They were dating now. Somehow.

"I'm fine, Joonie. Don't worry about it."

The younger looked back at him in suspicion, but didn't dwell on it. He knew better than to pressure the shorter. Yoongi didn't deal well with pressure, or any type of stress for that matter. It was best to leave it alone.

"If you need anything, you know you can just ask me, right?" Namjoon softly said, gently wrapping his hands around the shorter's waist.

Yoongi smiled a little, looking up at his boyfriend with his sleepy, cat-shaped eyes. "I know. I'm fine, really. Just a bit tired, I guess."

"Is there ever a time when you're not tired?" The younger chuckled, to which Yoongi snorted and hit him playfully on the arm.

"Very funny."

"You know you love me." Namjoon smirked, winking at the shorter.

Yoongi rolled his eyes and pulled away from his hold, but he couldn't hold back the smile any way.

Being with Namjoon just made him happy. Ever since the boy had come into his life, everything had changed for the better. The bullies were gone, he didn't have bruises every time he woke up in the morning and most importantly, his family was happy for him. They all welcomed Namjoon with open arms and Yoongi couldn't be living a better life. For the first time ever in his nineteen years of life, everything was perfect.

The black haired boy kept his eyes focused on the book, letting himself be pulled into the wonderful story, imagining himself as one of the main characters. He liked reading a lot, honestly. He wished he had more time because he had recently found some really amazing stories.

This one for exemple, was a story of three demons, more specifically incubus, who are summoned by four humans through a ouija board. It may sound a bit silly, but Yoongi found himself loving the story a lot. Maybe because one of the demons reminded him of himself, so he could relate to the character.

"Is the story good?" Namjoon asked from behind him, wrapping his strong arms around the boy's pretty waist.

Yoongi didn't spare him a glance, too focused on the book. He simply hummed in response, to which Namjoon chuckled.
