Chapter 14

"Alright! School's out early! Awesome!"

"Blade! Wait up! Where are you going?"

"Does that really matter right now? School's over, we can go wherever we want!"

"Blade! Wait! Where are we even going?"

"My place. We can all go in my car if you guys want."

I guess we didn't have another choice. Blade was the only one who actually brought his car. The rest of us had to walk about a hundred miles to get here. Needless to say, we all felt too defeated to give our input. We all filed into Blade's car and headed (supposedly) to his place.

"Oh by the way, I already know what we're gonna do for the project."

"You do? How?

"The details were on the school's site, I check it all the time. Here's the plan for the project." Blade said as he passed the sheet of paper from the front of the vehicle to the back.

"What is this? The hadron Collider? We're making a replica of the hadron collider?" I asked, taking a look at the sheet as Cassidy did the same

"It's not the hadron collider! Why does everyone keep saying that?"

"Well you gotta admit Blade. It looks alot like the hadron collider." Olivia added

That got a laugh from the rest of us

"Ok, well, it's not."

"Good, because from the looks of the project, it looks oddly.. Sophisticated. A little too sophisticated." I pointed out. Cassidy pulled the sheet out of my hands to get a closer look at the project.

"Hey Blade, when were you planning on working on this?"

"Tomorrow"

"I thought we were working on it today."

"No. Today, we're going to the bowling ally."

"We are? Why?"

Well, our teacher did say that we need to spend some time getting some time to know each other first, right?

"Right.."

"So, I thought we could use this time to have some fun."

"Okay, but just promise that we'll get to work on the project afterwards."

"Sure.. after the party."

"A party?!"

"Didn't I tell you? I kind of figured we had some time left, so I might have invited a few people over to-"

"Blade!!"

"Fine, then, we'll work on the project, I swear."
