"What? No, we're just good friends. Where did you get that idea from?"

I was lying in bed with Olivia

"It's okay, Zayne."

"Man, I feel so stupid."

"Why? I already told you it's okay."

"I got so mad that I shouted at you at the park back there. I just hope you didn't take it too personally

"Zayne, we'll always be friends and that's what matters

"And anyway, I thought of a clever plan to get back at Blade."

She then whispered something in my ear.

"Oh, that is good. Man, you are the devious type."

Sometime later, it was prom night, the night we've all been waiting for.

The group came by themselves. I came with Nick.

"Man, this night looks amazing" Nick commented

"Not as amazing as you" I said out loud

"Come on, I have a surprise waiting for us."

After that, we walked up a flight of stairs to a hotel room. It was filled with scattered rose petals and candle lights all around.

"Zayne, you didn't have to do this.."

"No, just please, let me talk."

" Tonight is unlike any other night, and even though we've been through so much trouble to get this far, I just know that this is what I want."

"Zayne..

"Nick, will you be my boyfriend?" I said this as I pulled close

"Zayne, of course I will."

"But, you do realize, we're not the only ones here, right?" He said as he left me feeling confused. he then walked over to one of the windows and pulled down the curtains.

Our group, along with the whole school was out there cheering and clapping for us.

"They love you Zayne, and I love you too. And, I can't imagine spending one more day without you in my arms. I'm all yours if your willing to take me"

"Will you, Zayne?"

"Yes, of course."

As pulled each other close, and kissed in front of everyone, the whole crowd burst into a wave of cheers and applause.
