Zayne Timothy's POV:

I hurried to get to class as soon as I walked through the school's doors.

When I made my entrance, I noticed a number of kids who were running over each other to get to where they needed to be.

"Alright everyone, get to class! You only have five minutes left! Don't make me write detention slips for you all!" Said a man who I assumed was the principle of the school

He was holding a megaphone while wearing a black suit and tie while standing on one of the floor tiles in front of the school's entrance. I often wonder why teachers like to punish kids so much. I feel like the kids aren't doing anything wrong if they're just running, unless they trip over one of the floor tiles and it spins out of control until it hits the walls like so many times before,  but other than that, yeah it's perfectly fine, at least to me. Before we go any further, I'd like to introduce you to my school for a minute.

My school was very odd for one very important reason; it was very confusing. Part of the reason being is that it did not look like a school at all..but more like Discovery Place. It had an elevator that you could ride sideways so that you could quickly get to class. It's located in the middle of the building right between the floor and the high rise ceiling, so you couldn't really miss it. Outside, you could see students driving in flying cars out in the practice speedway, managing to make a number of twists and turns wherever they go. It also has digital floor tiles that can float up in mid air and then take you to any classroom you need to go to.

The school also has an indoor rollercoaster for its physics class, Einstein's law of relativity room (which is basically a room full of floating magnetic balls), a real indoor rocket ship for the school's rocket science class, and a gummy bear factory, among other things as well

Hallway 1A wasn't that hard to find. When you step inside a middle school, you know how you see three hallways; one on the far right for 6th graders, one closer to the far left for 7th graders, and then the one on the far left for 8th graders? The school looked kind of like that except it wasn't a middle school and it was no ordinary school to begin with. With my schedule in hand, I made my way through the overcrowded hallway with flying students on tiles. Since I was a freshman, I opted for hallway 1A, which was the hallway that was on the far right.

I saw a teacher standing to the right of me as I came in the hallway

"Hey, I'm sorry, Is this the right class?" I asked the man who was on my right. I assumed he was a teacher because of his authority-like demeanor. Oh, and he also had a light blue suit with a black tie. Plus, the sign next to his door said 134B, which is the exact room that I was looking for. His classroom even looked like a normal classroom with normal chairs, normal desks, and a long whiteboard that faced towards the classroom.

"Can I see your schedule?" He asked

"Um- Uh-uh yeah sure!" I said, handing him the schedule

"Which of these classes do you need?"

"Um 134 B, please" I said before allowing him to help me locate the place that I need to be at the moment.

Since I was looking for classroom 134 B and that's the number that appeared next to the door, I was confident that this had to be it. However, instead of agreeing with me and allowing me to enter the space that resembled that of a regular classroom, I only received a confused look from him as he surveyed the schedule and then looked around the hallway. This, in turn, made me feel very puzzled.

"Hm..That's weird." He said as he squinted at the print out sheet

"Wait right here." He told me as he went to principle's "office." You know how when you step into a large airport, and you see one of those  glass spaces that have officers who check for passports? Yeah, the principle's "office"  looked exactly like one of those. It was located in the middle of the school and in between the freshman hallway on the far right and the senior hallway. The office was placed here so that it would be convenient for every student to come given that a certain circumstance arises.
