Zayne Timothy's POV:
Oh no, I thought to myself as I eyed the blonde girl who was standing inches away from me. How did I not notice her standing there before?
Well, I guess I can't blame myself. I mean, it is Cassidy after all. She may be loud and hyper, but when it comes to sneaking up on people she is as quiet as a mouse.
As I let my emerald green eyes travel from myself, to the royal blue colored wall of the school, to the floor tiles (which looked more like smart phones), to the younger blonde in front of me, I noticed her doing something that made me feel as if my stomach had dropped;
Slowly, she formed a mischevious smile that complimented her smooth, ivory, light cheek bones. Her smile looked as if it was lifting her deep hazel brown eyes. I knew what she was up to immediately.
hmm..She has this huge grin plastered on her face....It was almost as if she wants to-
"Ahhhhh!!!" Cassidy yelled as she raised her arms up and ran straight towards my face.
Oh no, please! Not this again! I couldn't help to think this to myself, knowing exactly what was coming next.
Only, too bad for me because no sooner than I thought this than more than 100 lbs of girliness toppled over me, nearly crushing me in the process.
"Cassidy! Wait! Don't! I!'.... I tried to stammer out as best as I could. But it was too late...
The sound of someone falling down could be heard as our two bodies collided with one another. From the corner of my eye, I could see the younger girl's purse sliding across the tiles as Cassidy's long waves cascaded all over the place.
"Omg Zayny! omg I missed you so very much! Did you miss me?! Huh? Did you? Did you?! Where have you been all this time??!!"
"Uh- YeS, I- mis- sed you- now- ge- off- me please." I struggled to get my words out as she literally laid right on top of me.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry Zayne!"
She apologized as she quickly got up. She then helped me up too.
"It's amazing how I found you, isn't it?! I mean, this school is just so BIG!! It's so easy to get lost here! I mean, I'm sure that you probably got lost here at least a thousand times, haven't you?"
Ignoring her last comment, I ask her with a confuzzled expression on my face "Cassidy, why are you here?"
She looked back at me, just as confused.
"Whatever do you mean, Zayne? In the same city?"
I looked at her with one eyebrow raised and the other staying in place. I knew she was blonde, but I didn't think she could be that blonde. Of course, I know we live in the same city! What I'm interested to know is what she could be doing in the same school as me.
"Gosh Zayne, I've heard of your surefire plans before, but this is taking it to a whole new level! I mean, don't you know we grew-
"Yes! I know! We grew up in the same city! That's not what I wanted to ask you!" I said this as Cassidy's smile slowly faded. I closed my eyes as I slowly rubbed my forehead, trying to keep my composure.
I took a deep breath. "What I wanted to ask you, is what you're doing. at. the same. school. as. me." I let out slowly.
"oOoOh!" Cassidy replied, slowly realizing.
"Well, why didn't you just say so?!"
At this, I did what any other normal human being (besides Cassidy of course) would do, and facepalmed myself.
