Chapter 11

"Hmm, I wonder why that didn't work." Cassidy thought out loud.

Meanwhile, I was just sitting there, with my hands pressed firmly against my forehead.

I gave a sigh. "Cassidy, The ipads on the ceiling aren't like the rest of the ones here. How many times do I have to tell you that? You press one button and it could cause some serious harm or damage."

"Or, maybe I just pressed the wrong button. Like see, it could also be this one." Cassidy pointed out. She then activated the next said button.

Meanwhile, a teacher was giving a lecture in the school's gummy bear factory. She was just in the middle of trying to explain how to make a gummy bear.

"....And that class, is how you make a gummy bear. Any questions?" 

As soon as she was done giving out directions, a tv screen dropped from the ceiling,  then played the gummy bear song.

Next, Cassidy tried a red button. That one pointed to the school's Einstein's law of relativity class.

That teacher was giving a lecture when a huge wrecking ball dropped from the ceiling. The ball then swayed back and forth before crushing the entire class against a wall.

 "Darn it! I thought I had it that time!"

"How? You keep on pressing the same buttons in the same place."

"Well, what can I say? You never know unless you try."

"Oh, I think you've tried enough already! 

"Oh come on, you haven't even let me try this one yet!" 

"No, Cassidy! I think you've toyed enough with this thing already. Now come on, we gotta get to class or else we're gonna be late."

Zayne began to tug at Cassidy's arm as a gesture for her to follow, but as soon as he did, the two of them could feel the entire vent vibrating almost uncontrollably. This time, all of the tiles that kept the translucent vent away from view all collapsed at the same time, leaving Zayne and Cassidy exposed to wandering eyes.

Zayne had only one thing to say;

"...You touched that one, didn't you?"
