When He Tries To Give You A Gift

It was now 3 days before New Year! And Aizawa wanted to give you a small gift as a rememberance for this year and for your relationship, of course.

He wanted to do that gift very special to you, but it might cost some money.

'Oh well, It's for Y/n and she deserves it for being a kind...girlfriend...and...for helping him with paperwork...and for giving him his daily dose of kisses and cuddles.' He could go on and on, on how perfect you were, but now was not the time for stalling, it was time for him to buy you a gift for New Year.

Aizawa called you and told you that he wanted to buy some food and run some errands, so he could go home late and have a lot of time to buy a gift. You, of course didn't suspect anything, since you always left him when he's busy with hero work or paper work.

Back to Aizawa's perspective, he was now on the nearest jewelry store to find the most beautiful jewelry that would look good on you. He would do anything for you.

Aizawa hums as he quickly shows the guard his VIP Card. Everytime pro heroes wanted to go shopping, they always grab their VIP Card, since sometimes the mall was crowded, so they can also have access to the private mall that was for Pro Heroes only.

The guard lets him in, in an expensive looking jewelry store.

Aizawa walks in and casually looks at the displayed glass, trying to find a jewelry that is not that expensive and looks good on you. "Oh, Eraser!" A familiar voice calls out, as the guard lets All Might in. 

"Oh, hey. Toshinori,"

"Looking for a gift for you girlfriend, I see?" 

Aizawa flinches, and hides his face on his gray scarf. "Y-Yeah, I am..." 

It wasn't everyday that you could see Aizawa in this flustered state, so it actually surprised Toshinori that he indeed loved you. The Aizawa he knows is maybe too busy sleeping or paper work, but this one was different. He's glad you had entered his friend's life. 

Toshinori smiles at the thought of Aizawa being loved properly and helps Aizawa decide in which jewel would look better on you.

It was now evening and Aizawa hasn't arrived yet. You were waiting at the living room, obviously bored from scrolling through Netflix. There was nothing good to watch today, or you weren't feeling like it. 

Suddenly, you had an idea. 'I guess, I could surprise Shouta by finishing his paper work!~' You hummed, before getting off the couch, leaving the TV on and grabbing Aizawa's papers from the kitchen counter.

You hurriedly went back to the couch and flopped down, gently dropping the pile of paper work on the small table in front of you. You grabbed the nearest pen and took off one paper from the top. 

'Okay...let's do this!'

Few minutes have passed, you were now half-way done from finishing Shouta's work, since you were a fast worker. You were about to grab another piece of paper, before you heard a small knock on the door. 

You got up and dusted your hoodie and sweatpants. You dropped the pen on the table and jogged to the door. "Hello! How may I he-Shouta! You're here already?"

You were surprised. 'I thought he'd still be doing hero work, cuz' there's still light outside-'

"Y/n. Can I come in?" You playfully rolled your eyes and scoffed. "What do you mean, Shouta? You live here, or did you forget?" You giggled, as you heard Aizawa swallow the lump on his throat. "O-Oh...Yeah..."

'Wait, did he just stutter?!-' You looked at him wide-eyed. Aizawa, in return looks at your eyes alarmingly. "Hey Sho, are you okay? You're acting really nervous today..." You looked at him worriedly. 

"Y-yeah, I'm fine...I'm just nervous..." Aizawa looks down, his scarf covering his mouth and flushed cheeks. He was playing with his fingers, which was shaking. 

You slowly nodded and let him come in. Once he sat himself on the couch, he noticed his paperwork. "Were you doing my paperwork, while I was gone?"

You sheepishly looked away and scratched the back of your neck shyly. "Well, I thought you could use a break, so I did it! And I'm half way done!" 

Aizawa chuckles, before you noticed that he started fiddling with his hands again. "Okay, tell me what's going on."

Aizawa flinches and looks at you. "Hu-"

"There's obviously something you want to say, Shouta. Please say it, so I could fix it."

Aizawa looks away and takes deep breaths, before he scooches closer to you. You scooched closer to him as well, and now you were both facing each other, lost in each other's eyes. 

Aizawa blinks and closes his eyes, before calming himself. 'Just..give it to her, stop being nervous...dang it...' Aizawa opens his eyes and gets something from his pocket. 

"H-Here...I got this for you..."

You smiled at him, before slowly taking the small box from his hand. You opened the box and your eyes widened, as you gasped. Inside was a jewel. You loved the way when you opened the lid, it shines bright. It looks so pretty...It was shaped as a cat as well!

"S-Shouta..." You felt tears brimming up your eyes as you sniffed softly. Aizawa's head snapped at you, as he looked at you concerningly. "D-Dang it! I-I should have chose the other one...S-Sorry, Y/n, but that's the only thing I could afford righ-"

"Thank you, Shouta!! You don't know how this means to me! I love you so much!" You jumped on him and planted kisses around his face. Aizawa sat there, frozen, as he slowly hugged you back. "But I thought you hated i-"

"Me? Hate it? Shouta, this is the most cutest gift you had given me!! Of course, this is enough!! I love you so much, Shouta!" You squealed as you hugged him tightly.

Aizawa lets out a relieved sigh and hugs you back. 

"I'm glad you liked it, Y/n..."
