A sudden storm came as they were sailing, making Loralei worry along with Corazon. Loralei kept thinking, 'If only my curses could do good things,', she saw the state Law was in, and it literally broke her heart. She had spent over 2 years with this boy and he had almost seemed like, a best friend or a brother figure- although she knew Law didn't want to be her brother so she gave that thought up. She held tightly to the gift that Corazon and Law had gotten her around their third month traveling since on that day, it was Loralei's birthday. They bought her a heart pendant that could be open, inside they had a cute picture of the three and on the other side they had an engraving on it, Loralei really loved this present so much, it helped her calm down so many times, so as she was worrying her heart out, she held on it tightly.

"Cora-san..." Law was breathing heavily, but he asked Corazon a question.

"What?"

"The government knew that we would die, but they kept making us dig up White Lead, for money," Law then looked up Corazon, "My family, and the people of Flevance, the Government killed them!" Law's voice sounded in so much pain it made Loralei's heart ache, "So if you're an Navy soldier allied with them, tell me the truth," Law said.

Loralei stared awkwardly at the two, knowing the truth, but again she said nothing and let Corazon lie, "That's absurd! I'm not a Navy soldier!"

Law stared at Corazon and then gave a wide smile while saying with such relief, "Good."

Loralei kept thinking to herself, that's a lie but if Corazon said the truth, would Law not like him? Lies are bad but...Corazon is a good guy, so are his lies an exception?

"In fact, you need to realize, stealing the Op-Op Fruit means we'all make enemies of everybody, Doflamingo, the Navy, and the Government! We'll be chased by everybody. You two better be prepared to fight to live!" Corazon said. In a way, the rain, the clouds, the waves, it made everything look quite dramatic.

Loralei looked at Corazon with a stubborn determination, as if telling him he needs to live as well, Corazon noticed and gave his usual dorky grin.

They arrived at Minion Island, and Law's condition seemed to be getting worse so Loralei covered him up with her blanket as well. It didn't do much, but she really hoped it would help.

Corazon was in deep thought as he threw the rope towards a tree on a cliff, making sure it was tight and secure, "Law, Loralei, it won't be long, wait here.." He looked down and Loralei and Law who stated at him like 'You ain't leaving without me you clumsy f-'

They held on to his really comfortable looking jacket and Loralei made sure to hold Law as well in case he might fall unconscious or something.

After a while, Corazon found an abandoned house to put them in, "Law, Loralei, I can't take you with me from here," he said, walking out the door.

"YOURE ABANDONING US?!" Loralei was shocked, she didn't expect such a situation, she thought they had bonded really well these past months-

"No I mean, when I'm infiltrating the place to steal the Op-Op fruit, I can't take you, its dangerous," he explained calmly to Loralei.

"Fine, just don't be clumsy Cora-san, there's so much snow, be careful where you're running and don't slip up, you got that?" Loralei said, seriously. After all, Corazon is super clumsy, he can literally trip on anything.

"Don't worry, I won't," Corazon said, ruffling Loralei's hair, he then looked at Law and gave a grin, "I'll get the Op-Op fruit and then we can run away and hide," he smile, "Loralei, Law's really sick right now, protect him, okay?"
