As I contemplated my life, Sengoku came in, looking at me disappointedly.

"You know why you are here right?"

I stook my tongue out at him, "You invaded my privacy, tch. I should had learned by now that the navy shouldn't be trusted!"

He sighed, "What were you even thinking, joining up with pirates to betray the military! Even worse, while we are starting a war?"

I avoided his eyes, "You know by now, the only reason I stayed was for my brothers, and because of you, and because of Corazon," I said.

"Loralei, you are a good person, I know you can be a great marine-"

"Sir, I'm a pirate through and through, even if I became one young, don't let your personal feelings of knowing Corazon tie you down to the idea that since he raised me, I'll always be good, as of now, what I want is to be with Law," I said.

After racking my brains for years on what I should do, the only thing I want now is to be with Law.

Even if that means I'm branded a criminal, well, im actually already branded a criminal, Sengoku did make things easy for me by giving me a different identity here.

"If you wanted me to let you go, you should had pretended to go along with me, why are you telling me that?"

I smiled, "Cause you're a good person gramps, I want freedom please?"

He seemed to tense up when I called him gramps and then sigh, "You can leave after the war," he said.

"Eh?"

"I'm not allowing you to go outside and cause trouble," he said, making me pout, "Lunch will be brought to you later, the execution will start in 8 hours," he said.

Thats plently of time.

"Can you at least un cuff me?" I said, feeling my back straining from sitting on the chair.

"Its to stop you from using your powers," he said.

I stated at him, "The door is made of sea prism stone, and my power isn't a physical power, its fine for me to be uncuffed here, plus I want a nap!"

"How childish," he said, making me pout.

"I'm 24 now, you can't call me childish anymore!"

"Then stop acting like a child," he said.

I sighed and he brought in someone to unlock the cuffs.

"Then, see you later," he said, walking out with the other person and then locking the sea prism door.

I held in my laughter, he actually doesn't know!

The artificial devil fruits created by Kimiko's father have no weakness like the sea or sea prism stones! I have no such weakness! I stared at the sea prism door and then the wall. Having been in the marines for a while, I've studied many layouts and practically know how most marine base layouts are like now. If the war will start in 8 hours I have a lot of time to prepare.

Law's POV

Its been 8 years since her wanted poster came out. I know she's alive, it was honestly a shock at first, and I really wanted to see her, but now, I don't think I can take her with me. I found out she became a part of the marines, she's going to live a good life, I'm probably going to die to have to kill Doflamingo, and I don't want her to leave a good life to die with me, even if I want her with me.
