Chapter 13 - Brothers

Loralei couldn't help but smile happily as she read the newspaper. "The Blood Demon and The Cursed Demon destroys a Naval Base".

"That's so freaking cool!" Loralei opened read the front page which continued into the back so she opened the page to see two wanted poster fall down.

Kimiko walked out of a cabin room, towel on her shoulder soaking in the water from her hair, "Oh the newspaper is here, what's in it?"

"Wanted posters!" Loralei almost squealed in happiness.

"Nice, mine hasn't updated in a while, what's mine?"

"280 million?! What in the world did you do before this?"

Kimiko laughed, "A ten million increase huh? Guess this isn't as bad as destroying a kingdom's water source when practicing some blood expansion," she said.

"Blood expansion?"

"Basically, I can reproduce blood cells, even if it'd one blood cell, I can duplicate it and such, so I basically turned their lake into blood, but honestly, who keeps only one water source? They are the stupid ones," Kimiko said.

"I see, you are overpowered as f-"

Smack!

"I didn't say it yet!"

"So?"

Loralei clicked her tongue and looked at her wanted poster, 50 million, "Wow, this is great for my first price," she said.

"Agreed, my first was 10 million," she said.

"You were three though," Loralei said back.

"So?"

"So what's the next step in reuniting with Corazon and Law?"

"I don't know!" Kimiko confidently said.

"Eh?"

"I've just been searching around many parts of the sew, looking for my siblings, I don't know where I find them, and I don't know where I would find Law," Kimiko shrugged.

"I feel like you know a lot though, how do you know Law and Corazon anyways?"

Kimiko smiled and started drying off her wet hair with her towel, "I don't know them directly, I've never met them, I don't even know what they look like," she said, which confused the crap out of Loralei.

"How-"

"Don't ask too many questions, its better to not know too much, ignorance was bliss," she said.

Loralei poked Kimiko's face which made Kimiko a bit surprised.

"What?"

"Sometimes, you feel foreign, like you are in another world of its own or something?"

Kimiko almost showed some type of anxiety but she then laughed and poked Loralei's head, "I mean, you're the one with blonde hair and blue eyes, looking exotic here," she said, which confused Loralei.

"But there are so many people with different color hair, my town could literally make a rainbow," Loralei said.

Kimiko laughed, "That's true, and there are also many unusually looking people as well-" Kimiko stared at the marine vessel coming towards their way at a faster speed than her ship could go.

Kimiko went and grabbed the newspaper from Loralei's hands and went to sit down at a wooden table she had out, "You can handle them right? I'll see if there's anything else interesting in here," she said.

Loralei couldn't help but feel a bit excited, beating up some marines sounds like fun- 'But Corazon is a secret marine right? I'll go easy on them then!' Contradicting what she and Kimiko did just the other day.
