The final battle, a new avatar arises

I walked up to the beast. "This is the end for you."

"You will never be able to defeat me." 

                                                                           Earlier that day...

I looked out upon all those that had come to help stop Glory maelstrom. "Thank you, all of you." I was at a meeting of all the leaders. There stood The Blood, and next to him was Platinum ezel. And the other leaders continued until it was me. "I really thank you all for this. This army is only here because all of you put aside your differences. Sometimes it takes the world ending to help people realize things." I bowed my head. The others all bowed as well. "We will be going to war soon. All of you should get your troops ready." I turned and left the meeting. 

"So, how did it go?" I looked at Blaster blade. 

"It went well." I looked at all of the units that had gathered to defeat all of our enemies. "It is amazing."

"Yes. You have brought together so many people. The paladins are growing in strength as well ever since you found Ezel." I smiled.

"I can't believe that so many of us were just out there, waiting for us." Blaster blade put his hand on my shoulder. 

"We should be getting your troops ready as well." I looked up at him. 

"Yeah." I walked over to the largest group of units. Psychic bird flew away, with Midnight bunny chasing after it. I grabbed Midnight and turned her around. "I need your help."

"What is it?"

"I need you to start telling everyone to get ready for the battle." She bounced a little, and then was gone with the message. 

"So, we go to war." I turned to see Nero standing there.

"Yeah." 

"Finally. I needed a place to test out my new armor." He smiled, and then went back to the Dark Irregulars. 

"This is truly a fine fighting force." I turned to see Ana standing there. 

"Hello Ana." 

"Hello Rey." 

"Are you ready for this battle?"

"Is anyone ever really ready for battle?"

"I guess not, but we must to save everyone." 

"I know, but I still don't like it."

"I know." We bowed to each other, and she went to start getting her troops ready. I walked up to the front of all the troops. "Today, we will end Maelstrom!" Cheering poured out from the troops. "Today is the final day that any of you will have to worry about being controlled by such a vile creature." Again, more cheering. I walked a step forward. "Now, get ready for we leave in ten minutes." I turned and walked back. 

"Sir." I turned and found Silent tom standing there. 

"Yes?"

"May I be your guard for today?" I put my hand on his shoulder. 

"I need you to be working with the Murakumo today." He bowed.

"I understand." He turned and left. I looked up at the sky. 'Why is there so much destruction in such a beautiful place?' I put on my ninja form, and started to walk around the base. After all the troops were suited up and ready, we started to head out. "We should get there in about five hours." Blaster blade walked next to me. 

"So, then begins their last stand."

"No. There begins our last stand." I looked at Blaster blade, and he nodded at me. After about an hour of walking, we were confonted by the troops of Glory maelstrom. "I guess we both had the same idea." Both sides started to fight, attacks coming from both sides. Our troops, however different they may have been, were standing together in this fight. Their attacks actually helping each other out. I looked around, but couldn't find Glory maelstrom anywhere. I grabbed one of the weaker Aqua Force units. "Where is Maelstrom?" He started to swing his weapon at me. "Fine then." I  cracked his neck, and threw his body from me. I continued this process, until the Aqua Force stopped coming around me. "Cowards." I turned, and was shot in the face with a blast of water. "Maelstrom." He just laughed. 

"Yes young vanguard, it is I. Are you ready to parish into oblivion?" 

"I believe that you are the one who is going to die here." I jumped at him, and he threw me back. 

"Weakling. How do you expect to beat me in that form?" I stood up, and took on my ultimate form. 

"Is this any better for you?" I flew up, and right at Maelstrom. He just laughed, and hit me out of the sky. 

"If this is the extent of your power, then you have lost this fight." He started to walk towards me. 

'How is this possible. Even in my best form, I still am not strong enough to beat him.' I punched the ground. I looked around at everyone. They were all fighting so hard. They all had hope. That is when it hit me. "This isn't my true form, is it." I looked up at Glory, and he flinched back. I stood up, and bright light appeared around me. "I am the beacon of hope. This is my true form." I looked right at Glory. "This is the form that is going to end this war." I stepped forward, and Glory shot a burst of water at me. It evaporated before even getting close to me. "You can't hit me with attacks like that." 

"Then I shall rip you to shreds!" He ran at me, and I jumped at him. I placed my hand on his head and pushed off. My handprint stayed there for a second, and the shadows around it writhed. 

"So that is how I beat you." I landed on the ground and ran at Maelstrom. I placed my hand on his heart, and released my light into his body. The shadows around him started to disappear, and Glory maelstrom vanished. In his place was the normal Maelstrom. "Maelstom! I have cleansed your body." He fell to his knees. 

"What have I done?"

"You have done nothing. The power of Void is what did this. The war is over." He got up, and smiled at me. 

"It seems that you have discovered your true self after all. Come my warriors, we leave." He turned, and went back to the ocean.

"So that is the end of that." I turned and Nero was standing there. "I was kind of hoping that you were going to kill him, but at least this war is over." He vanished into the shadows. 

"Thank you, young vanguard." I turned to see Ezel standing there. "You have helped end maelstrom. But, for now, you are not needed. We shall send you and the other vanguards home, and your lives will go on. Are you ready?" I smiled to myself.

"Yeah. I'm ready." 

                                                             Later that week...

I was walking around when I found a cardshop that I hadn't noticed before. "Hello. What do we have here?" I walked in, and stopped in the doorway. "Chris?"
