The story unfolds

I continued to walk with Schwarzschild by my side. We had been together for about another week now. "What should we do now?"

"I don't know. Does your clan have any information on where the enemy is moving?"

"No. Nothing yet. Have you gotten any info from any of your men still on the inside?"

"Nothing. I think that they might have been found. I haven't heard from any of them."

"Well that stinks." I kicked a rock on the ground. "I was hoping for something." I could feel something weird in the air. I jumped back just in time to dodge the blast that was fired at me. I looked at the dragon. "What was that?"

"You fool. Did you really think that I would have left my clan for you?"

"What do you mean?"

"I played you fool. You fell right into my trap. I was able to get to you, get information that I needed, and now I will kill you."

"No you won't." I looked over to see Artemis standing nearby.

"Artemis!" She smiled at me, and then lunged at the dragon.

"I will kill you witch!" The dragon started to swing around at her, but Artemis kept dodging his attacks.

"Only if you can catch me." She jumped around, firing arrows into the dragon.

"You can't kill me! I am invincible!" He swept back, and caught Artemis on the leg.

"Oof!" She fell to the ground with a loud thud. The dragon turned on her quickly.

"Caught you!" He raised his hand, and the power of lock appeared in it.

"No!" Before I could move, the energy left his hand and hit Artemis. She screamed, and then was gone. All that was left of were she was, was a black and red ring.

"I told you! You can't beat me!" He turned on me. "She might have the power to come back, but a human, even a vanguard, cannot!" He raised his hand, and the power appeared again. "Now I shall end this all! Without you, the resistance shall crumble!" He fired at me, and I dodged. "Don't try to run. It will never work." He started to fire rapidly. I kept dodging each blast.

"I will never give up! Never!"

"Then die!" He continued to fire at me. One of the blasts was about to hit me when something got in the way. An explosion sent me flying backwards.

"What was that?" I looked around. I noticed that there was someone running in the trees around us. "Who is there?" The shadow jumped out, and standing there was a unit that I had never seen before.

"My name is Justita. I am a new member of Genesis." I gasped.

"Genesis?"

"Yeah. Genesis. There are a couple of us who have joined the team." She smiled at me.

"So, what I it that you did to stop me from getting locked?" She just smiled at me again.

"I have learned a new power." The dragon glared at her.

"And what would that be wench?"

"The power to unlock." She threw her hand, and Artemis appeared were she was.

"What is this? Were did you get such a power?"

"Ezel. Ezel taught it to us."

"Us!?! Who is us!?!"

"Those from the clans who learned about this power."

"So, there is more of you?"

"Of course. You don't think that I would be the only one to have this power. That would be really stupid."

"It doesn't matter! I will still kill you all!" Just then, a fireball came flying out of nowhere. It hit the dragon square in the chest. "What was that?" He started to look around.

"It was me." A woman stepped out from the tree line. She wore very regal clothes, and had an aura of power about her.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Yatagarasu. I am another new member of Genesis." I smiled at her. Genesis was getting so many cool new units. The dragon started to whip around to look at the four of us surrounding him.

"It doesn't matter! You can't kill me!"

"Of course we can." He looked right at me.

"And what gives you the right to silence me?"

"I am a vanguard. My job is not to make one clan more powerful than another, but to keep peace and balance. We are those chosen to prevent war, and to stop it once it starts."

"What does all that even matter to right now!?!?!"

"It means that I am going to kill you all and stop this war once and for all." The bow in my hands vanished. "What the?"

"Ha!" The dragon made energy appear in his hand. "You die now!" He fired it at me, and I felt a strange power come from my hands. A wall of fire appeared in front of me to block the attack. "What?"

"What does this mean."

"It means that I am now your avatar." I looked over at Yatagarasu.

"Really?"

"Of course. It is only logical that you gain more power as your clan grows. I am more powerful than your last avatar, not to offend you or anything Artemis."

"No offence taken. I know exactly what you mean. I was going to try to get Rey to get a new avatar soon anyways. I am glad that it is someone as powerful as you." The dragon just looked around at us.

"This is impossible! I can't lose! I can't be beaten!"

"Then I won't beat you. I will just send you to hell." I made a fireball appear in my hand, and Yatagarasu made one appear as well. We both threw the fireballs at the same time, and they hit the dragon at the same time. He started to writhe in pain as the flames spread across his body.

"Impossible! How could lowly creatures such as yourself kill me!?!" His burnt up body hit the floor, a red energy left the corpse.

"Even upon death, they rejoin void."

"Yes." Yatagarasu put her hand on my shoulder. "We will have to work hard to make sure that we all remain safe."

"I just have one question for you."

"What is it young one?"

"Do you have a nickname that I can call you by?" They all laughed at me.

"Yes. You can call me Yata."

"Yata? Sounds good. It is nice to meet you Yata."
