I stepped forward at the titan, and Waterfall put his blade in front of me. "Let me deal with him." I looked shocked.

"Why would you want to take him on alone?"

"I am the guardian of water. I must do this alone." He stood back up and got ready for the fight again.

"But but but. . ." I didn't know what to say. I wanted to help him, but I knew where he was coming from. I would feel really bad if I was suppose to protect something, but I couldn't even protect myself.  I watched on as the titan and Waterfall went at it. I couldn't just stand here, but I also couldn't interfere with the fight.

"Go on. Go and try to get the clans back together."

"But what if you die? What happens then?"

"They get control of the waters. The very thing that gives them their power." He swung his sword at titan again, just to be blocked.

"There must be something that I can do! What can I do to help you? Please tell me!" I started to shake. I didn't want to take away his pride, but I didn't want him to die either.

"Just go! Go get the clans. Then, if I do die, it won't be in vain." He was able to push the titan back. "Go!" I turned and started to run, Exculpate following me close behind.

"Where are we gonna go first? Have you decided?"

"Yeah, we are gonna go check out the Narukami. After that, the Nova Grapplers. Then, the Dimension Police. I am pretty sure that they will help us." I kicked at a rock on the ground as we ran. "What made you join with Chris?"

"Who?" I shook my head.

"Blaster dark. What made you join him?"

"He is our lord, our leader. He is our vanguard." There was that word again. It had been the thing that changed my life, and right now, not for the better.

"We should be getting there soon." I started to run faster. After about another hour of silence, we arrived at the home of the Narukami. It was a dangerous place, full of lightning and crevices in the ground. "So this is the home of the Narukami?" I looked back, and Exculpate seemed almost in pain. "What is it?"

"This place. It just doesn't feel right to me." I looked around, hoping that the Aqua Force hadn't convinced the Narukami to join them instead.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" I whipped around to see Dungaree standing there, bow drawn and arrow notched. "Answer smartly. Your lives depend on it."

"I came to ask the Narukami to help us."

"And why should I let you through?"

"Because your lives our at danger then as well. The Aqua Force will-"

"Did you say Aqua Force?"

"Yeah. . . why?" He looked around.

"Come with me. I will bring you to our leader." He turned and started to walk away. "Keep up or else you will get lost." I had to run to keep up with him. Then I remembered my ninja abilities. I started to jump in the trees above him.

"So this is where Vermilion lives?"

"Only in times of war." We arrived at a huge mountain.

"So where is it?"

"This is it." He walked over and brushed his hand over a rock. A huge hole opened in the wall. "Here we are." We all walked in to such a sight. Thunder dragons were arguing over something, and Vermilion was the one leading the argument. He stopped and looked at us.
