A trip to psy

I walked into the cardshop, Psy seemed to be empty. "Hello? Is anyone there?"I started to look around the place. "Hello?" I walked into the back, and the room was dark. There was a shadow figure standing in the back of the room. "Hello?" The lights all popped on, and I shielded my eyes. 

"Hello." I looked up to see a kid standing there. "What  are you doing here?"

"I'm here to talk to the cardshop owners. What are you doing here?"

"I came to do the same. Would you like a fight while we wait?"

"Sure. I need to try out a new deck idea anyways." I had built a new deck since I couldn't run Rey all of the time while on Earth. 

"Then let us get started." We both walked up to the motion figure system. He put his hand on the system, and it started. I just glanced at him. I didn't sense anything special about him. 

"Lets start." We both put down our starting vanguards and shuffled. 

"Stand up, vanguard."

"Stand up, my vanguard,"

"Creeping dark goat."

"Enigman flow."

"Engimen? I haven't seen them around in a while."

"Well, I don't think you have seen them run this way."

"I willl start us. I ride gururubau. Creeping dark goat moves." He moved it behind his vanguard. "i end my turn."

"I stand and draw. I ride enigman ripple. Enigman flow's skill allows me to add enigman wave to hand. I call oracle guardian, gemini to rear guard." 

"What?" I looked up at him. 

"Problem?"

"No. Just caught me off guard."

"I boost ripple with gemini for an attack on your vanguard."

"No guard."

"Drive check, enigman rain."

"Damage check, cursed lancer."

"I end my turn."

"I stand and draw. I ride knight of fighting spirit, dordona. I call out another dordona. My rear guard dordona attacks."

"No guard, Damage check, army penguin. I give the power to my vanguard and draw a card."

"I attack with dordona boosted by goat."

"No guard."

"Drive check, darkside pegasus."

"Damage check, oracle guardian, wiseman."

"I end my turn."

"I stand and draw. I ride enigman wave. I call out cosmo beak. I use his counterblast to give my vanguard another 4000 power. I call out enigman ripple. I attack with cosmo beak boosted by ripple."

"I guard with death feather eagle."

"I attack with my vanguard boosted by gemini."

"No guard."

"Drive check, omiscience madonna."

"Damge check, origin mage ildona."

"My vanguard skill allows me to draw another card since it hit. I end my turn."

"I stand and draw. I ride silve spear demon, gusion. I attack with my vanguard boosted by goat."

"No guard."

"Twin drive. First check, abyss freezer. I give the power to my rear guard and draw. Second check, origin mage, ildona."

"Damage check, engiman rain."

"I attack with my rear guard."

"No guard. Damage check, enigman shine."

"I end my turn."

"I stand and draw. Shine forth my beautiful goddess, and cleanse this battlefield. I ride ceo amaterasu. I use her skill to soulcharge one, and check my top card." I picked it up. "I think this will stay on top." I put it back down. "I call out enigman rain and oracle guardian, gemini. I attack with rain boosted by gemini."

"I guard with grim reaper."

"I attack with amaterasu boosted by gemini."

"No guard."

"Twin drive. First check, justice cobalt. I give the critical to my vanguard, and the power to rain."

"Why rain?"

"Second check, cosmo fang. I give the power to rain, and she stands."

"Damage check, first check, black sage, charon. Second check, dark shield, mac lir."

"I attack with rain."

"I don't have enough to guard agains both. No guard. Damage check, abyss freezer. I lose."

"You should switch to anohther clan."

"And why would that be?" This kid's face started to turn red.

"Because no one will ever be able to run the shadow paladins as well as my friend had."

"What happened to him?"

"Nothing that you need to worry about!" i turned, and stormed out of the cardshop, bumping into Suiko and the others on the way out.

"Rey?" I sprinted away, tears in my eyes.

"What happened to you? Why did you forget?" I appeared on Cray, and was standing near the ocean. "Why am I here?"

"To see the rebrith of a vanguard." I turned around to see Giovanni.

"So, it is you. We actually get to meet, person to person."

"Yes, and I am sorry about before. I need to do what I did to amaterasu. I hope you understand." I stepped forward, and he flinched, waiting for the hit that never came. Instead, I wrapped him in a hug.

"Thank you." He patted my back. "Now, what did you mean by that?" He pointed to a boat.

"That boat."

"What about it?"

"Chris is on it."

"What! When! How?"

"Seems to now be the vanguard for Aqua Force." I turned and looked at the boat again.

"Ironic, isn't it?"
