James's POV:

At dance rehearsals two weeks later, Miss Kate had split us into two groups to choreograph a small group dance for Internationals. Unfortunately, Riley wasn't in my group, and instead, I was with Michelle, West, Max, and Giselle. The other group was Thalia, Eldon, Stephanie, Cierra, and Riley. My group was rehearsing in studio A whilst hers were in the music room.

Riley and I have grown all the more closer, but I'm still dating Emily. I have tried to drift apart from her so that I can ease into the break-up instead of having to do it harshly. Riley's worried about everything, as usual, but I'm working towards getting her to be mine very soon.

We've slept together twice now and it all just happened in the moment. When I'm with her, I don't think about how my actions will affect the future, she just makes me feel that way. I expect her to do all the worrying for the two of us whilst I try my hardest to calm her down about it all. In my opinion, we're a perfect match and I never realized it until now.

Whilst we were taking a five-minute break, I sat on the bench and took my phone out. I changed her name on my contacts to a name I love calling her but obviously not something which calls out any suspicisions.

You: Hey Ri. How's your dance going?
Riles: Good I guess. Missing you❣
You: Wanna come to mine after rehearsals?
Riles: I thought you were going somewhere with Em?
You: I'd rather spend time with you any day

"James?" I hear someone who was standing over me call. I look up to see Michelle standing there.

"Oh, hey Michelle," I respond. She sighs aggressively before sitting down beside me.

"Who are you texting? We need to get back to rehearsing," she snaps.

"It's none of your business, and I'll just be a minute," I say back. Sometimes Michelle can be a little too curious for my liking.

"Bro, you're actually texting Emily right now?" West smirks. I roll my eyes. Emily is his first conclusion to everything, especially if it's to do with me being distracted.

"He's probably texting her to say he'll screw her afterwards," Max says. Giselle widens her eyes and West starts laughing.

"I am not doing that," I snap at them.

"Yeah right," West mutters with a smirk. I groan and put my phone on the side with my bottle of water, making sure to turn it off, facing it downwards.

"Right, you guys want to rehearse right?" I say sternly as I get up and get into first position. Giselle blinks slowly to take in what had just happened before taking her place behind me on the right-hand side. Michelle shakes her head and sighs before also joining, along with West and Max.

When we finally finish choreographing the dances, we had a break and pretty much everyone went down to Hidalgos. Riley had texted me saying that she wanted to talk to me, so I just called her to ask where she was. She answers on the third ring and I smile as I listen to her cute voice.

"Hey James, where are you?" she asks. I rest my ear against my phone as I hold it on my shoulder whilst I changed shoes. My mum gave me specific ones for dance, even though they were just simple black trainers, and another pair for general use. Apparently I wreck my trainers too often and get them dirty, so she bought me another set of trainers in advance.

"Studio A, where are you?" I ask her. Michelle walks past me with her eyebrow raised but I ignore her.

Michelle's POV:

I don't know what it is, but something is definitely up with James. He is never distracted during rehearsals and right now, I know for a fact that he's talking to a girl and it's not Emily. If it was Emily, he would have answered the call by saying 'hey babe' which he didn't.

As everyone leaves, I go into the office and pretend to be doing something. He didn't notice me going in there and therefore didn't know I was listening to his conversation. I couldn't hear what the other side was saying obviously, but James kept on smiling and chuckling.

"Okay, I'll meet you there, alright?" he says. The other person says something which makes him laugh before he says. "Yeah, I know. Don't worry, I'll break-up with her soon... I know, I miss you too," he adds before smiling and then declining the call.

I can't believe it. He's cheating on Emily. But with who?

Riley's POV:

I wait outside of the building of the studio in the parking lot. James said he would meet me here because I really need to see him and talk to him about everything. Although it sounds weird, I'm craving him so much and I don't know how much longer I can wait.

After a few minutes of pacing up and down with my arms folded over my chest, I finally see him in the distance. He smiles at me and then walks closer. I let out a sigh of relief as he hugs me. I love being this close to him and the feeling of his muscly arms being wrapped around me.

"I missed you," I mumble as I pull back.

"I missed you too, Riles," he says, tenderly touching my cheek with his finger before letting go. I hold his hand and let out a small laugh.

"I just wanted to ask when you're thinking of doing it," I ask him shyly and quietly. I know that it's bad to want my sister to be heartbroken, but it's so painful to be this close to James without being able to actually say he's mine. I know it's killing him as much as it is with me.

"Today," he says.

Shock. That's all I can feel. I want him to do it soon, but I didn't think he was going to this soon.

"Riley, I want to be with you so that's exactly what I'm going to get. I was going to have to do it at some point, so I'll do it tonight," he adds. I gulp.

"Are you sure you're ready to?" I ask gently. I cant believe he's actually going to proceed with this. I know that he's told me he was going to time and time again, but now he's serious. He's actually willing to throw away everything he's had with Emily, which even I know, was a lot. Their moments of love, their dance duets, their time together, their anniversaries, the times they've given each other gifts, their kisses and cuddles, the comfort they've given one another. And he's willing to exchange all of that... For me...

"I've been ready to for ages now, Riles. Okay, you need to trust me with this. You're the girl of my dreams," he says. "Everything will be okay," he says. My heart skips a beat. The names he's called Emily for the past two years is what he's going to start calling me. I'm replacing Emily in his life. She's going to hate me even more than James. I know I've been telling James to do this for a long time now and he's ready, but I'm beginning to question if I'm ready... Do I want to ruin my relationship with my sister... For him...? "Riles?" he says, trying to regain my attention. I shake my head softly before looking up and then kissing him.

"Thank you," I mumble against his lips. I know he was confused by what I meant, but I don't allow him to ask any questions as I kiss him harder and he kisses back.

"Ri," he mumbles. I pull away, my eyes looking straight into his. "Let's go to my car," he says. I smile playfully and then step down, allowing him to take me by the hand to his car and we get into the back seats.
