Riley's POV:

"Oh my god, Riley, please tell me you're wearing that dress tonight!" Thalia exclaims in a shrill voice as I hold the violet, knee-length dress in front of me and look in the mirror, stood in the bathroom.

"I don't know..." I sigh, really only to tease her. I watch as her jaw-drops from the corner of the mirror and then I turn around and begin to run my hand up and down the side of the fabric. "I mean... it's not really my colour-"

"Riley! Are you crazy!" she shouts.

"I'm joking! Of course I'm wearing this dress tonight! I wouldn't have bought it if I wasn't going to," I laugh. She lets out a short breath of relief and I roll my eyes at her as she walks over towards the socket by the wall, opposite the sink, and plugs in her hair straightener. "You really bought your straightener with you?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.

"Of course I did! If I want to look good then, oh, I am gonna look good!" she says, flipping her hair over her shoulder. I chuckle momentarily before facing myself in the mirror again. I know that all of the girls were going to be really dressed up this evening even though it's just a restaurant we're going to and at first, I wasn't as thrilled about the idea of dressing up and doing make-up and hair and all of the ridiculous girly stuff, but now, I'm thinking otherwise.

"Hey, Thal?" I say, still looking at my reflection with my lips slightly apart.

"Yeah?"

"Do you mind doing my make-up tonight?" I ask her. I move my eyes across the mirror to see her reaction to find her eyes widen and a grin spread across her face.

"I thought you'd never ask!" she says. I smile at that before she goes serious again. "No, seriously. I literally thought you would never ask because you've always declined whenever I suggest doing so." I roll my eyes. "But sis, hurry up and get changed and then come here!"

"Okay, calm down!" I smirk before doing exactly as she says and changing into my newly-bought dress.

James's POV:

"Yo, you're actually going to be wearing a suit right now? It's a restaurant, not a spring formal," I say to Eldon as he stood there trying to perfect his tie. Trying to. He wasn't getting far with it at all, not going to lie. He gives up and struggles to take it off from around his neck before throwing it on the bed and West, Noah, Max, and I laugh at him.

"It's not funny, okay!" he moans, flunking himself down on the edge of the bed beside his tie as well.

"Are you still trying to get with Thalia?" Noah questions. I can't help but smirk at that, knowing that Eldon still had to get to thirty pirouettes before he can go out with her just yet.

"No. What's the point anymore. James won't even let me talk to her," he says. I wrinkle my nose at that. It's not my fault we had to come down to this conclusion. Is it really because of me that Eldon can't handle a stable relationship? He's just not mature enough yet.

"Speaking of dating... James, who are you even with?" West asks, smirking at the same time.

"He's got his eyes on his ex's sister, remember?" Max grins, folding his arms and looking at me. I stare at him, noticing he was still just standing there in a black vest top and joggers, but he had trainers on as well.

"I do not have my eyes on her, okay?" I state. I mean, that's half true. I don't have my eyes on her because I'm already with her. Not that they need to know that though. "Plus, are you really going to be wearing that?" I ask. He shrugs. "You guys really need to up-level your fashion sense," I smirk. Unlike them, I'm wearing jeans and a favourable t-shirt. Something that's not fancy but not extremely casual either. Is it really hard to find a pair of clothes suitable for a restaurant? Apparently, yes.

"Oh right...! You can't have your eyes on her because she's already taken," Noah grins, now somehow worming his way into this exaggerated topic.

"Okay, seriously? You too, Noah? You're meant to be on my side. I did help you with the whole Abi thing after all," I warn. He frowns at that.

"Wrong. She broke up with me after I told her I like Richelle-"

"What? Richelle? When did you ever like her?" I ask, furrowing my brows. I swear these guys change up their love interests every five minutes.

"I always have. I don't know why you told me to ask Abi out when I never even liked her," he sighs, now also lying himself down beside Eldon on the bed and looking up at the ceiling. I shake my head in confusion, just wanting to move away from this subject of dating girls.

"What about you, Max?" West asks. He shrugs again.

"You?" he asks him back.

"Me? Oh, I'm not into girls." I already knew about this. West and I have been bros for a long time. It would almost be a crime if I didn't know.

"Really? You got your eye on anyone though?" Noah asks him, sitting back up once again.

"No, not really. I used to like Daniel but that was before he turned into some solo-obsessed-cheater," he says. I smirk. He is right though.

"Anyway, we should probably get going now, guys. If you're not ready, I'm just gonna go by myself, alright? I'll see you guys there," I say.

I grab my phone from off of the dressing table before swiping my card over the reader and then opening the door where I see Riley walk out of the female, public toilets down the hall. She looks up and then notices me before smiling. Even though she was a couple of metres away, I was able to study her face thoroughly enough to tell she looked beautiful. I've rarely ever seen her in make-up but she looks gorgeous with it on and the pink lipstick she wore on her lips matched the light crimson blush on her cheeks. Her hazelnut brown eyes stood out with her lashes done as well as her eyebrows. Her skin was glowing a bright shine which enhanced her smile so much more whilst her hair was let out loose and went just below her shoulders.

She walks over to me with the short black ankle boots on her feet. Her dress was just above her knees and almost skin-tight. Still, you couldn't notice her baby bump but she looked adorable and hot either way.

"Hey princess," I say when she reaches me. She smiles but it was a faint one, almost as if she was unsure about something. "What's wrong, baby girl?"

"Are you sure it's not too much? Like the make-up and everything?" she asks, looking down at herself.

"No, of course it's not. You look stunning, Riles," I tell her. She looks back up at me but with that same sense of doubt evident in her eyes. "Trust me, Ri. You look irresistible right now."

Her usual soft smile returns and then she looks around us before leaning up to kiss my lips. I hold her back, pulling her closer to me and we hold the kiss for a while longer before pulling apart. I place my hand on her cheek, using my other to tuck her stray hair behind her ear.

"Are you going to the restaurant now? Apparently the other girls are there, but Thalia, Cierra and Amanda are still in the hotel room getting ready," she says, rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, I was just leaving to go," I tell her. I lean down and press a kiss on her forehead and then pull away as she places her hand in mine and we walk off in the direction of the pizza place Kate had booked a reservation for all of us at.
