WARNING: MENTIONS OF ABUSE AND SUICIDE!

House: Hufflepuff

Year: 6th

Blood: Pure

Summary: Your parents were Slytherins but you got put into Hufflepuff. They obviously hated that fact and basically made your life hell when you came home from Hogwarts. On top of that, your boyfriend Draco was acting strange. He'd changed since you last saw him, but he was still your boyfriend of about 6 months. You knew you love him, so you tell him, only to have Draco not return the feelings. Nothing goes your way. Your parents hate you because you're in Hufflepuff, your boyfriend doesn't love you, and your grades start to drop. What do you have to live for? Parents and a boyfriend who don't love you? You're pretty much failing your classes right now because of all the stress. Can't you just give up?

Y/N's POV:

Finally time to leave that hellhole of a home and back to my happy place--Hogwarts.

"Come on you useless piece of shit! Move! You'll miss your train." My abusive father yells. He shoves me out the door of the house and doesn't bother to help me with my bags. I whimper but suck it up. We made it to the train station and I quickly board the train, not wanting to spend a second longer than necessary with them.

When I found my boyfriend on the train, he looked miserable and depressed. His hugs weren't as loving like they were before. His eyes weren't at all lively like they were before. He was thin and brittle-looking, not at all like his muscular figure before. What happened to my Draco?

Draco seemed distant. He refrained from letting me snuggle into his side like normal and never looked me in the eye.

Weeks upon weeks flew by and I knew for sure something was wrong with the boy I fell in love with. So, I went to go talk to him. He sat in the Hogwarts library, his nose buried deep in a book. I smile slightly as I was one of the only people who saw Draco's passion towards reading. In the Malfoy Manor, they have a large library with thousands of books on just about every topic. We'd spent time together there as friends before we started dating. Even when we were dating, we'd spend time there together, recommending books that we might like. I loved cuddling Draco there. It was always so cozy in the Malfoy's library compared to the rest of their house. Many times, I'd fall asleep there and Draco would have to carry me to his room.

I sneak up behind Draco and gently place my hands on his shoulders.

"Hey Draco." I say softly before grabbing a chair and sitting next to him.

"Y/N." He greeted me, though his voice sounded cold.

My eyebrows scrunch together in worry. "Draco, you have to tell me what's going on. I hate seeing you like this."

He didn't look up from his book. "There's nothing wrong Y/N." His tone was icier than normal.

"I can tell there is something wrong Draco. Please tell me. I'm here to help you." My eyes well with tears from the pain in my chest. It's like he's hitting me with invisible arrows that were dipped in poison. "I love you too much to see you like this."

This time, his head snapped up. Draco's eyes blazed with anger. "Well I don't love you anyways so go leave!"

This time, it felt like a giant boulder had hit me in the chest and run me over. "Oh...okay. Sorry to bother you." My voice felt small and weak. Maybe that's why I'm in Hufflepuff. I'm too caring--clingy. I annoy everyone who I love. They don't even like you, Y/N. Why even try?

A couple days had passed and the sadness that washed over me never left. I always annoy people. I am not good enough. My friends stopped trying to help me through this when I didn't tell them what I was going through. What's the point when nobody cares? Why would anybody care? It's not like I was important to people anyways.
