Chapter 2 - Crisis On Infinite Earths Hour Two

3rd Person POV

"Never thought we'd be pouring one out for Oliver." Sara says from in between Kate and Kara while pouring shots out for the three of them in the STAR Labs lounge

"We're not gonna wait for Barry?" Kara asks

"I don't think he's ready to say good-bye." Kate notes

"So... anybody want to say some words for Oliver?" Sara asks

"He sacrificed himself for me and Barry." Kara says, sad. "Shouldn't have done that."

"His sacrifice saved a billion more people." Sara tells her. "Let's not call that a mistake. Look. Oliver died the way he lived, a hero." She says, taking her shot

"Not to rush a tender moment, but I think the multiverse is ending soonish, so..." Kate says

"No. I can't, I can't." Kara says, putting her shot down. "Barry's right. It feels like giving up. We managed to get billions of people to safety. There has to be a way we can undo this. Oliver, my mom, Argo, Earth ugh all those Earths, all those people who vanished. There has to be a way we can get them back." She trails off, her voice shaky

"Or we focus on stopping it from happening to every other universe." Sara tells her. In a flash of light, Lyla appears. "Oh, hey. Welcome to the joy zone." Sara greets sarcastically. "Where's Dig?"

"At home with JJ." Lyla says. "He still doesn't know about Oliver."

"Lyla, you--" Sara starts

"I know." Lyla says. "I just...I need to figure out how to tell him."

"Yeah." Sara whispers

"You can't just hijack the Waverider." Ray's voice says from the hallway, walking into teh lunge with the Monitor. "Our crew is still on there."

"If there is any chance at surviving the Crisis, we need its technology." Monitor says

"Oh, yeah. I kind of promised our crew they'd never have to do another crossover." Sara says

"We don't need your crew, just Ray's lab." Lyla says. "And we have an entire multiverse of Waveriders at our disposal."

In a flash of light, Lyla disappears. The Monitor flashes out of the room as well

Sara looks around the room before her eyes land on Ray. Then, her eyes widen. "I thought you were with Brooke." She whispers, her tone serious

"I thought you were with Brooklyn." Ray responds, matching her serious tone 

A loud bang echoes through the hallway

"Shit!" Ray and Sara exclaim, running out of the lounge and down the hallway where they could hear more banging

A gust of wind speeds past them as they run and they arrive at the cortex to see Brooklyn throwing a computer across the room

"Brooklyn!" Kara exclaims (the superhero having been the gust of wind to past them in the hallway)

Brooklyn slams her hands on the desk and swipes hard, knocking off books and papers and keyboards as she yells

"Brooke, calm down!" Sara yells, running over to her

"Don't touch me!" Brooklyn yells, pulling away from Sara and clamping her hands to the sides of her hands. "Don't touch me!" She screams, backing up

"You need to calm down!" Ray tells Brooklyn

"Why?!" Brooklyn yells, looking at him. "Oliver's dead!" She yells, pulling her hands away from the sides of her head to throw a chair across the room
