Chapter 4 - Crisis On Infinite Earths Hour Five

3rd Person POV

Sara walks down the street, confused. She looks around at the quiet alley she's in. "How did I get back here?" She breathes in a whisper, looking around. She winces, grabbing for her head as memories of the past days flash back to her. A car honks and Sara backs out of the street. She pulls out her phone and dials a number. "Ray, where are you?" She asks over the phone. "Look, I need to talk to you." It's silent for a moment as Ray talks. "No, don't bring Brooke."

"Hey, Cap, over here." Ray calls to Sara as she walks into the bar

"Ray." Sara breathes, rushing over. "Hey, hey." She whispers, hugging him

"Hey, you okay?" Ray asks as they pull away. "Not that I'm ever one to question a hug."

"What was the last thing that you remember?" Sara asks

"Uh, portaling to this location on your orders." Ray says, turning his head in confusion. "And why couldn't I bring Brooklyn?"

"You don't remember coming here for trivia night and being teleported to an alternate Waverider to stop the multiverse from being destroyed?" Sara asks him, ignoring his other question

"Wait, was there a crossover?" Ray asks. "Were we invited? Did we win?" He asks, excitedly

Ray was enthusiastic in his questioning, something that was agitating Sara. If Brooklyn were here, the girl would be able to read Sara's body language and behavior. Brooklyn would be able to see that Sara was in distress and freaking out. Sara twists her fingers together

"That's certainly how it looks." J'onn's voice says in the minds of the two

"Did you just hear--" Ray questions, looking around

"It's good to see you're all safe." J'onn says in their minds, approaching the two

"J'onn, that's a neat trick." Ray says

"Wait, you know J'onn J'onzz from Supergirl's Earth?" Sara asks

"Of course I know J'onn." Ray says. "Wait, go back. Supergirl has her own Earth?"

"Not anymore." J'onn says. "When we restarted the universe, our worlds combined, and only we Paragons know it was ever any different."

"Okay, sorry, guys, I'm a little lost here." Ray says

"Here, this'll be faster." J'onn says, lifting his hand to touch Ray's forehead. J'onn touches his forehead and memories flash through at rapid speed

"Whoa, there was a multiverse." Ray says. "It all got destroyed. There's an evil Batman, and there's a me that's a super me?"

"It'll take him some time to assimilate to this new paradigm." J'onn says. "I have been going from city to city restoring the memories of our compatriots as best I can."

"And what about Oliver?" Sara asks

"There's been no sign of him." J'onn says

Sara turns around, storming out

"Hey, where are you going?" Ray asks

"To find my friend." Sara calls back

The elevator doors to the arrow bunker open as Sara arrives. "Oliver!" Sara calls through the bunker. "Oliver!"

"Sara." Digg says, tears in his eyes with Rene and Dinah behind him

"I need to talk to you guys--" Sara says

"We already know." Digg says. "We already know."

"Martian J'onn came by and gave us a splitting headache." Rene whispers with tears in his eyes
