Chapter 3 - Crisis On Infinite Earths Hour Three

3rd Person POV

"How could you let this happen, Sara?" Digg yells at Sara in the medbay. Sara and Digg stand across from each other with Oliver's unconscious body in the middle. Brooklyn has her hood up and is sitting on the medbay chair behind the group. "You, of all people?"

"It's complicated." Sara tries

"It's not complicated." Digg says. "I wasn't there when he needed me."

"Dig, we are working on bringing him back the same way that he brought me back, remember?" Sara says

"You're talking about a trip to Purgatory." Digg realizes

"Yes." Sara says

"Fine, count me in." Digg says

"And there's...There's something else." Sara says. "Dig, it's Lyla. She's... she's gone missing."

"What?" Digg asks

"Nobody saw her leave." Sara says. "She was there one minute and gone the next."

"But she has the ability to teleport, so she--" Digg tries to reason

"So there are now infinite possibilities for Lyla's location." Monitor says, walking in

"You." Digg growls, walking over to him. "Listen to me. I am not losing Oliver and Lyla. So cut the crap and tell me how the hell do I find my wife?"

"You heard him." Sara says. "Where is she?" She demands

"Harbinger could very well be with my adversary...The Anti-Monitor." Monitor says

"The Anti-Monitor is that, uh, set in stone, or can we workshop that a little bit?" Cisco asks around the console in the center room of the waverider where most of the group is gathered. Brooklyn, once again, is away from the group a little, sitting on the stairs to the parlor

"This is why I have been preparing all of you...testing and pushing you to your limits." Monitor says. "I needed your courage, your honor, your strength of will, even the truth of your convictions. Everything that makes you the greatest heroes on this Earth or any other, because that's what it will take to defeat our opponent."

"And what exactly does this guy want?" Frost asks

"To eliminate the multiverse and replace it with another universe." Monitor answers

"One that he can control just like every other megalomaniac." Kara says

"I should've foreseen my connection with Harbinger could be perverted to his ends." Monitor says

"Should have? Just tell us how to get her back." Digg demands

"I want to find her just as much as the rest of you, but I cannot rewrite what has already been written." Digg says. "I can only attempt to save what remains."

Kara storms out of the room. Kate watches before walking out after her

"You know what to do to get Oliver's soul back." Sara tells Digg. "I'll watch over his body and I promise you I will keep you updated on Harbinger."

"Copy that." Digg says as Sara starts to make her way out of the room

Sara stops in front of Brooklyn. "You're staying with me." Brooklyn shakes her head no slowly. "Then where are you going?"

"To find Oliver's soul." Brooklyn says in a whisper. She stands up and talks louder. "I'm going with Digg."

"Brooke...I don't think that's a good idea." Sara tells her
