Chapter 22 - Wanda

I was waiting in the shadows as Steve, Thor, and Tony talk to Ultron. I started to meditate to focus my mind, I had to do well.

When I see the fight breakout, I jump down onto Ultron shoulders. He knocks me back as he goes for Tony, I use my power to stop my fall. I then hold my hands out and hold two Iron Legion Bots still then crash them together.

I turn as I notice a flash of blue beside me, then I see a pair of glowing red eyes. I run toward these eyes to find a girl. "Wanda?" I ask as she does something to Nat. "What have you done?"

"Y/N?" She asks surprised.

"Wanda he wants to destroy everything....I know you don't want that."

"Your lying...Tony Stark wants to destroy everything." She argues.

"Don't make me hurt you..." I whisper

"I know you...you won't do it."She mumbles.

"But I will." Clint says from beside her, he puts an electric arrow on her forehead and shocks her. "I've done the whole mind control thing. Not a fan." Just then Pietro speeds in, knocks down Clint, he picks up Wanda. I close my eyes and hold my hands out, stopping him from running, I then pick the two up and throw them across the room against the wall, creating a dent. As they groan in pain, Pietro manages to get Wanda and speed off. "Yeah, you better run" Clint groans as I help him up.

"Natasha, I could really use a lullaby." We hear Tony say in the earpiece.

Clint and I sit with Natasha who's still stuck in her vision that Wanda made her see. "Well, that's not gonna happen. Not for a while. The whole team is down, you got no back up here."

"You've got me Tony." I nod at Clint.

Clint looks at me and shakes his head, "I love Banner but Y/N, he will crush you...you haven't seen him like this."

"I'll be fine." I instantly get up and run outside. I look towards the city to see it getting destroyed. I use my power to jump and levitate in the air, getting me to the city faster.

I run over as I see Bruce in the Hulk form falling through a building. As he lands the army surrounds him. "Tony! Wait!" I yell as he raises his fist.

I quickly jump onto Bruce as he sits and roars, I circle my hands around the sides of his head and take out what Wanda put in his head, I then put new images of Bruce inside, making hims shrink down back to normal Bruce. "How did you figure that out?"

"I just assumed that if Wanda and I can put something in someone's head then we can take it out." I say to Tony, who is in a much bigger suit. He picks up a now sleeping Bruce, and then flies off.

I use my power again to levitate and hurry away before the army fires. When I make it back to the Jet, Clint makes sure we quickly take off.

"Listen guys...I'm gonna try something. It worked on Bruce." I sit in front of Nat circle my hands around the sides of her head. I can see flashes of a ballet class, then her shooting and fighting. I replace this with images from before...before Wanda shows up. Nat's head snaps up to look at me, she instantly hugs me. I pat her head and cover her with a blanket, then moving on to Steve. "Do you want me to take whatever she put in out?"

"No...I'm fine Y/N...Thank you." He smiles.

"Thor?"

"No...thank you Lady Y/N." He smiles. I give him a weird look then move on and sit next to Tony.

"You know them?" He asks.

"Yes. We were friends." I smile. "I just hope they change their minds."

A few hours later we arise to see a farm house, as we are all walking closer Thor speaks up, "What is this place?"

"A safe house?" Tony asks, holding my hand.

Clint smiles and walks in first, "Let's hope....Honey, I'm home!" He yells out. We all look in shock as a pregnant woman walks out, "Hi. Company. Sorry I didn't call ahead."

"Hey." She smiles and kisses Clint.

"This is an agent of some kind." Tony points.

"Everyone, this is Laura." Clint smiles.

She waves, "I know all your names."

We all look over as we hear the sound of running, "Ooh, incoming." A boy and a girl run into Clint's arms.

"Dad!"

"Hey, buddy! How you guys doing?" He kisses their heads.

"These are...smaller agents." Tony points as we all stare in shock.

"Look at your face! Oh, my goodness!" Clint laughs.

"Did you bring Auntie Nat?" His daughter asks.

Nat walks closer and smiles, "Why don't you hug her and find out?" The little girl rushes to Nat, who picks her up.

"Sorry for barging in on you." Steve starts.

"Yeah, we would have called ahead, but we were busy having no idea that you existed." Tony says, looking at Clint.

"Yeah, well Fury helped me set this up when I joined. He kept it off Shield's files, I'd like to keep it that way. I figure it's a good place to lay low." Clint nods.

As Nat, Clint, and Laura talk, I watch as Thor leaves, Steve following. "Hey I'll be right back." I whisper to Tony, I let go of his hand and follow the two outside.

" I saw something in that dream. I need answers, I won't find them here." I hear Thor say.

"Thor wait!" I yell and run over to him. "Hey I just want to apologize for how I acted...ever since I've went through those experiments, I haven't felt the same. I was out of line."

"It's okay Lady Y/N...I understand. I was too, out of line."

I hold my hand out to Thor and smile. "Friends?"

Thor grabs my hand and shakes it, he then smiles widely, "Friends."

"Be careful." I smile and watch as Thor uses his hammer to fly away.

I look back to see Steve gone.
