I was reading this book the other day and I dunno I just liked this one quote, 'Home is where you dance with others, and dancing is life.' What a wonderful thing to live by. And I am really being serious, it is. Could you imagine how happy you'd be if you lived by that? I dunno, maybe I'll write that one into my book.

Speaking of my book, it's going great, got a whole thirteen pages down, doing great, doing great. ALSO WHO WAS GOING TO FUCKING TELL ME GINNY WAS THE GOD DAMN BLOOD TRAITOR. Now no; I didn't read the second book, Olivia made me watch all the movies last weekend. Now I won't be taking questions on how hot Emma was in deathly hallows, I just won't be.

On another note, something I really don't understand is that Emma went away two weeks ago for a filming retreat and my birthday is approaching in three days. It's been a hell of a few months, but I've really enjoyed it.

Now I was going to be turning eighteen, I hadn't told any of my friends my birthday just because I hated it so much. Get this when i was little on my birthday's my father would hit me, no one? Just me? Tough crowd. I can't even remember if I told Emma. Eh who cares, I wasn't one for celebrations.

Well... not until I got a certain text;

HomieGEmma: I don't know if I'll be back in time for your birthday, I will try my hardest, your present if with me. See you soon xx

I didn't even respond, it's been two days, didn't say a word. I was partly scared, was she meaning... *gulp*..... seggs.......

Then for the next twos- the one day after my birthday- I scolded myself for thinking like that, she was my 'mom' but we made -out. I don't know, it's confusing. But Ruelle ended up dropping off Harlow again, Olivia brought Lana over, her mother was getting better. Ever since I'd spoken with her, she'd been getting better.

I was slow dancing with the ankle biters when Emma came rushing in looking cold. It was rather cold outside. "Harlow! It's my turn!" Lana whined. "I wanna dance with her!"

"Oh my god, you are so hot you have two four year olds fighting over you," she hollered.

"We aren't four!" they said in unison.

"Hey Emma," I waved, she sat her stuff down on the counter, giving me a small smile. Lana's turn was next, her song of choice, Dancing with your ghost by Sasha Sloan when did four year olds get taste in music?

"Don't you dare entrance my sister!" Olivia giggled, "She's four."

"I am not four!" she whined.

"Whatever you say Lana, whatever you say."

"How was your day Olivia?" Emma asked, grabbing something from the fridge.

"It was wonderful, your daughter is a real delight sometimes," she rolled her eyes.

"Shut up," I muttered, "she's mad because Jenna is out of town."

"What'd she do?"

"She didn't tell any of us her birthday was yesterday! Can you believe that? She didn't even mention it once!"

"Charlotte," Emma voiced, "why?"

"I don't like my birthday very much," I muttered.

"Why not! My mom says I can get a unicorn!" Harlow giggled. Emma smiled.

"My mom didn't get me a unicorn," I whined, "don't boast kid, bad for the ego." At this both Olivia and Emma burst into laughter.

"It's okay Charlie, I can let you pet mine," Harlow reasoned. "It's got a horn and everything!" evewthing is what it sounded like.

"Okay kid, okay," I smiled.

"Pst," Lana whispered, she made a gesture she wanted up, "see her,"  she tried pointing to Emma without her noticing, "she likes you."

"I'd hope so, I live here!" I shouted, she threw her hands over my mouth.

"Shhhh! not like that you monkey, she like likes you, Olivia told me so," she whispered. "Watch, put me down, I wanna dance with her." I did as she asked, she tugged at Emma's coat she was wearing. I walked over to where Olivia was standing watching as Emma began dancing with the four year old.

"What was she on about?" Olivia asked.

"Telling me Emma likes me," I smiled.

"Emma likes you!" Harlow squealed.

"Shhhh, keep it down!" I whispered, "It's a secret."

"Emma! Emma!" Harlow screamed.

"Harlow knock that off!" I screamed, "she's gonna hear you!"

"Emma! Emma! Charlie has a secret!" Harlow side eyed me. Those two little girls set this up!

"Stop, stop, I will run away. Olivia take them to your house before I die of embarrassment." Five minutes later they all left, I have no idea where Emma went off too. So I sat down doing some school work.

"Think I forgot about your present," I nearly pissed myself.

"Fuck you, why would you do that," I squealed.

"Mnm, wouldn't you like too," she grinned.

"Well I mean if we are being straight forward."

"Take me to dinner first," she smirked, punching my arm.

"I have a little in mind for dinner," I smirked back.
