Scene 1
Vansh froze on his spot, in his tracks when he heard his beloved Shivika's reply.
"W..why ?" He coaxed out with great difficulty, without caring to stand up, or mask away his sadness.
"Cause...my dad hates you." Shivika whispered the last part and tried her best to hold her tears back but still a couple of them escaped down her eyes. "And I won't do anything against his wish."
Vansh's eyes flashed a glint of relief.
"That's the only reason ?" He asked softly, and stood up, with the pad of his thumb he gently wiped away her tears. "Will you marry me if he accepts me ?"
Shivika nodded, still crying.
"Do you love me ?" Vansh asked, slowly and softly.
"Is it that hard to tell stupid ?!" Shivika snapped. "Yes ! I love you !"
Vansh's happiness skyrocketed and a Cheshire cat grin appeared on his face, but then his grin fluttered.
"Not as a best friend, right ?" Vansh confirmed.
Shivika laughed a bit. "No, love as in love."
Vansh heaved a sigh before grinning again.
"I've a surprise for you..." Vansh said and pulled his phone out of his jacket pocket and dialled a call to someone and put the phone on speaker.
*Phone conversation*
Vansh : Hello, Mr Oberoi.
Shivaay (anxiously) : Bolo Vansh...Kya kaha princess ne ? Kya usne shaadi ke liye haan bola ?
(Tell me Vansh...Did princess say yes ? Did she agree to marry you ?)
(Shivika's eyebrows shot up and her jaws dropped in shock and surprise. She snatched the phone from Vansh and yelled into it.)
Shivika (yelling in amusement) : Apko pata tha ki Vansh mujhe propose karne wala tha shaadi ke liye ?
(You knew Vansh was about to propose me for marriage ?)
Shivaay (nervously) : Haan...Kya tumne haan ki shaadi ke liye ?
(Yes...Did you say yes ?)
Shivika (ignoring Shivaay's question) : Aapne Vansh ka hath nahi toda jab apko pata chala ki woh mujhe propose kar raha hai ?
(How come you didn't break his bones when you got to know he wished to propose me ?)
Shivaay : Todna toh chahta tha beta, lekin tumhari mumma meri jaan le leti uske baad, uska kya ?
(I wanted to dear, but your mom would've sucked up my soul after that, wouldn't she ?)
Shivika (smiling a bit) : Toh kya apko Vansh se koi problem nahi hai ?
(So you don't have any problem with Vansh ?)
Shivaay (softly) : Agar tum uske sath khush ho toh mujhe kaise problem hogi ? Tumhari khushi mujhe jyada maayne rakhti hai.
(If you're happy with him then how can I have a problem with him ? Your happiness is more important to me.)
