Episode 13

Scene 1

"Yeh sab kya bheja hai tune mujhe ? Kaun hai yeh Mohan Mehra ?" ("What is all this ? Who is this Mohan Mehra ?") Vansh asked Shivika over phone.

"Mohan Mehra mera chance hai SSO se dosti karne ka." ("Mohan Mehra, my golden ticket to win Shivaay's friendship.") Shivika smiled to herself and narrated the whole Mehra story to him.

"Meine yeh Mohan Mehra ke details Jason ko forward kar diye hai...Woh mujhe kal tak bata dega iss Mohan Mehra ke details." ("I've also sent those details to Jason...He'll hopefully find out something about him till tomorrow.") Shivika said hopefully.

"Jason ? Yeh Jason kaun hai ?" ("Jason ? Who's that now ?") Vansh asked.

"Arey Jason...Yaad hai kuch mahine pehle meine ek puppy ka accident hone se bachaya tha ?" ("Do you remember, a few months back I had saved a puppy from getting squashed by a car ?") Shivika said.

"Kuch mahine pehle..." ("A few months back...") Vansh wondered and then remembered. "Haan ! Yaad aaya...Wahi puppy na jiske chakkar mein tune apna haath almost fracture kar liya tha ?" ("Oh yeah ! I remember... You're talking about the puppy for whom you could've got your hand fractured, right ?")

"Haan, wahi puppy...Uss puppy ka malik Jason hai. Jason ek hacker hai, a computer geek. Meine uske puppy ko bachaya issliye he owes me. Toh woh meri help kar raha hai." ("Yeah, the same puppy...Jason is that puppy's owner and he's a hacker and computer geek too. And since I saved his puppy, he owes me. So he's helping me.") Shivika grinned.

"Hmm.." Vansh nodded. "Nice work pays off."

"Absolutely. Accha sunn Kian tera friend hai na ? Toh usey bhi yeh saare details bhej ke Mohan Mehra ka FB ya IG id dhundne ko bol na please...Mujhe jald se jald Mohan Mehra chahiye." ("Absolutely. Ok listen, Kian is your good friend right ? Please send him those details too and ask him to find out FB or IG id of Mohan Mehra...I want to find that Mohan Mehra as soon as possible.") Shivika requested.

"Don't worry mein Kian ko bol dunga. Kal shaam tak toh kuch na kuch pata chal hi jayega uss Mohan Mehra ke baare mein." ("Don't worry, I'll send that to Kian. We'll find some or the other out about him till tomorrow evening.") Vansh assured.

"Hope so...Agar ek baar SSO ko pata chal jaye na ki I'm not like my father, then maybe woh mujhe utna hate nahi karenge jitna woh ab karte hai." ("Hope so...If I could do this then I would be able to show SSO that I'm not like my father, then maybe he won't hate me as much as he does right now.") Shivika mumbled with a hopeful smile.

"Hmm...Waise jitna mujhe tune ab tak bataya hai, usey yeh lagta hai ki he has already started liking you...Verna woh kyu tere pass baithe rehte kal raat ?" ("Hmm....By the way as much as I've heard from you till now, I think he has already started liking you...Or else why would he have stayed with you last night ?") Vansh smiled although she couldn't see him.

"He was just showing humanity, V. Aur waise bhi tujhe pata hai na ki andhere mein, mein khud pe kaboo kho deti hu. I become clingy." ("He was just showing humanity, V. And anyway you know how much I fear the darkness. Fear makes me lose my cool. I become clingy. He had no other choice but to stay with me.") She reasoned.

"Whatever, Shivu, but to be honest I feel ki he has started to like you." Vansh pressed on.

"Thik hai chodo...Mujhe jaana hoga. Bye." ("Whatever you say...Listen, I gotta go. Bye.") Shivika mummered and after receiving a response from Vansh, she hung up the call.
